How to Manage Rejection
Greetings dear steemians and happy new week. I come today with teachings on how to manage rejection. Rejection can happen to anyone regardless of ethnic group, class, race and religion. It comes in various ways, either from school, friends, family, or even yourself. Funny right? Yes you can reject your own self. This usually comes with a lot of feelings usually negative which has diverse consequences not just in our health but impacts our social interactions.
Below are some tips i wish to share with you on how to manage rejection:

The very first way to manage rejection is to be honest. Accept the feeling that comes with it and face it boldly. How you feel and how you think are the key things on how to go about this situation that is why honesty is encouraged. Weigh the gravity of your feelings; are you feeling too hurt to the point of crying? If yes then cry out loud. It is a great way to release the hurt. If crying doesn't help, tell a good friend about the exact situation and how you feel about it. Here, it is best to talk to someone you know his or her idea will support your feelings positively intoto.

Secondly, you have to be positive. It is understandable that rejection can be painful especially when it concerns something you were so sure and confident about. The pain is never easy to bear but you have to fight any negativity at that moment by being positive. Admit the hurt but do not capitalize on it.

Thirdly, do a follow-up of your every thought. Do not be too tough on yourself. Think of why the situation happened. Don't put yourself at the victim end. Acknowledge you can be at fault. When you identify the source of the fault, try as much as you can not to repeat thesame mistake. This will help you to not think you will always be rejected.

Keep things in Perspective . Talk positivity into your life. Tell yourself you will never be rejected again, tell yourself you will always have chances to keep trying, remind yourself of how strong you are, yes you can manage being rejected, think of your loved ones. Use rejection as a tool to work harder.

Furthermore, understand that you might be rejected by someone because the understanding between you two doesn't flow right. Accept it and know it wasn't because you are a flawed person, it just happened and might work later intoto.

In conclusion, know there are cooling moments and hot moments so long as you are alive. No one is better than you and it is totally okay to be rejected as it is a sign you are actually living life.
