The diary game: A visit to my new place (26/1/2025)

Happy new week, dear friends and family of Steem Cameroon, how have you all been? We are drawing close to the end of the first month of the year, and it's been a smooth drive on my side. I wanna gist you all on how I spent my Saturday.

I woke up very early because I needed to attend worker's meeting in my church before the main service. The first thing I did was pray abd then I did my morning routine which was taking hot water on ab empty stomach. This cleanses the system and helps in bowl movement. Then I had my bath and got ready for church. Before 7am, I was already on my way to church, and the workers meeting began at 7am and ended by 7.45am, and then it was time for Sunday school. The topic for that day was "Suicide: Not an option". Here, we learnt why suicide shouldn't be committed no matter what one goes through and one of the reasons was that God owns the body, spirit and soul, so you can't take what isn't yours. We also learnt that we are to commit everything into God's hands.

The church service was a short but joyous one. The title of the message "Working in Excellence with God" and the bible passage was from Romans 8:35. According to the pastor, things to note about Excellence are excellence is about being the best and doing the best in the phase of life. In working with God unto excellence, you need to ensure you become what God has wired you to be. Philippians 3:14. We dismissed by 11am.

When I got home, I rested a little and then decided to eat my first food fir the day. I took pap and bread and after eating in the afternoon, I decided to write my note of lesson a little.

In the evening, at about 5pm, I decided to go visit my new lodge at my work place in order to sweep and mop the room. The transport to the place is 1000 naira, that is price of 3 steem. But unfortunately, when I got there, I was only able to sweep and not mop as the water had not been pumped, so I was defeated. I had no choice than to return back home.

When I got home, I was exhausted from the long journey, so I made garri and ate with my bangs soup and slept, so as to wake up early to go to work.
