MY REVIEW OF THE KNOCKOUTS MATCHES IN THE CAN TOTAL 2021

Hello steem world and football lovers out there. Welcome to this episode of the most interesting football review. In this episode, we take a predictive view at the knockout matches of the ongoing AFCON in Cameroon.

• Cameroon VS Comoros

Cameroon will lock horns with Comoros in a very entertaining game on Monday. The Lions have scored 7 goals in 3 matches and concede just 3 in a 2 win 1 draw at the group stage. On the other hand, Comoros have scored just has scored just 4 and concede 5 goals so far in the competition. In this view, we can see that the Lions of Cameroon stand a great chance to beat Comoros come Monday.

• Gabon VS Burkina Faso

On Sunday, Gabon and Burkina Faso will produce some very interesting football for fans. In the group stages, Gabon won just 1 match and have been in very poor form especially with the absent of their star man; Aubameyang. Burkina Faso came out second in group A with 4 points after winning winning 1 match and playing draw in the other. Based on form, Burkina Faso stand the chance to beat Gabon.

• Nigeria VS Tunisia

On Sunday, football lovers will be eager to watch the super eagles of Nigeria as they clash with Tunisia. Nigeria was the only team to win all 3 matches at the group stages and scoring 6 goals and conceding just 1. Tunisia on the other hand has been struggling in poor form. They won just a single game and retaliated in a 4:0 win over Mauritania. From this point, we bet on Nigeria to have a good win over Tunisia.

• Guinea VS Gambia

The two underdogs will face each other at the knockout stages of AFCON on Monday. Statistically, Gambia has won won 2 matches and Drew 1 while scoring just 3 goals and conceding 1 in the process. Guinea however has won 1 match and draw 1 while scoring just 2 goals and conceding 2 in the process. Therefore, Gambia will have a slim victory against Guinea.

• Senegal VS Cap Vert

Senegal and Cap Vert will produce a mouth watering game on Monday when they clash at the Knockout stage of AFCON. Senegal have had a poor performance at the group stage and only mingled to qualify. They won one match and the other two ended in a draw. They have generally lack attacking spirit. Cap Vert has been optimistic as they qualified with 4 points after beating Ethiopia and playing a draw against Cameroon. Senegal has scored just 1 goal in 3 matches but haven't conceded any. Cap verde has won one match, draw one and loss one. In so doing, they found the back of the net 2 times and conceded 2 goals. From these statistics, Cap Verde will have a higher advantage over a struggling Senegal.

• Morocco VS Malawi

Morocco has had an amazing performance at the group stages winning 2 matches and playing draw in 1. Malawi won just 1 game, drew 1 and lost one. With the prolific form of Morocco, they are one of the competition's favourite and will have an easy win against Malawi.

• Egypt VS Ivory Coast

This will be one of the most interesting knockout matches in the competition when two good sides with great individual talents face each other. Even though both teams failed to produce the expect d results in the group stage, the quality of these teams promises good football for fans on Wednesday. Egypt won 2 matches and lost 1 and he scored 2 goals and conceded 1 in that process. Ivory Coast won 2 matches and drew 1. Ivory Coast will have a slim victory over Egypt due to their scoring power and the poor attacking of the Egyptians.

• Mali VS Equatorial Guinea

The last knockout match of the AFCON last 16 will play between these two sides who had an average group stage performance.
Mali won 3 games and drew 1 while Equatorial Guinea came out second after Ivory Coast in their group. Considering their present form, Mali will have a tight win against Equatorial Guinea.
