Steem Cameroon Best Day of the week -13-11-2024
Greetings to you all in this very community, it's a great privilege to take on this very contest topic in this very week. I had a wondrous week so far, I will say have been so blessed and happy.
Like my mom do say vanity upon vanity, nothing really last forever. That keeps ringing in my head most time, why am I going to school if everything is vanity, why the job?. Thoughts of such runs through my mind most times.
I think we have a mission here on earth, we are to play it according to the rules. Living it to the fullest too. Education is really important and needful in our life not minding what people do say about it. Most people in my locality do say in pidgin ,"omor forget school na scam" To me, Education plays an important role in our life especially knowing more about ourselves and how to sort out human related issues.
Long before now, so many of my friends and senior colleagues started a journey in the university and their dream was to convocate successfully. It's a journey through chaos, hardship and so many stumbling blocks so if you can go through it successfully then it's really something to celebrate about.
On this very convocation date, I was booked by my senior colleague to take them mobile shots through the ceremony. I agreed to take on the work but the time wasn't that favourable for me because it was too early and I needed sunlight to capture clean pictures. The time was 9am dot, I asked myself several questions if I will really be able to cope with the schedules. I was too sure of delivering good qualities but meeting up with them that early was a big case for me.
I moved out so early in morning to take my first senior colleague. Her own venue wasn't in the school premises. The light in the premises helped us alot making reflecting close to get a better view.
I moved out to the main centre. It was already filled up and to see your friend or family member will be so hard. The network alone at that moment got me pissed, I couldn't inform the people that invited me for snaps to locate me.
I finally found a place to connect peacefully, my clients fixed different areas around the school to snap the pictures. It wasn't really a big issue tho because its within the school premises.
I met with my maternal cousin, I was so happy to see him the gown after a long one. I took several shots of him wearing the gown with the hat, I needed a shot with him too so one of his friends got a copy of us together.
My turn is close as I told him while shaking him bye. I know it's not easy to finish up with this very journey but I have it in mind that everything will go smoothly.
I moved to snap one of my clients who was calling and waiting tiredly for me. I had to pour down apologies to her, she was a bit angry but I pleaded continuously just to cheer her up while snapping. Her friends accompany her to the convocation, it's really lovely to see people who care for you and are ready to support your great wins.
She was inlove with the pictures after my light retouch, it's really lovely she said. I made available complete pictures so she can send to her family and friends and also make a congratulations post too.
I finished up with them to complete my task for the day, I was already tired of moving around the school to locate my clients. I got myself snacks and drink to chill off, man body no be firewood. She was patiently waiting for me with no angry words to say, I smiled seeing her in such mood. I captured several shots while giving out some of the copies for free because she waited patiently.
It was really my best day because I had thoughts of how I will manage all my clients and how it will be like with the school bad network. It was really successful, I even met with my maternal cousin saying congratulations to him. Patiently waiting for my turn and I believe it will come soon.
Thanks for going through my post ❤️
