The diary game 11/10/2021: Something New.

Steeeeemiiiiaaaannnsssss!!! How we dey? Greetings good people. It's yet another day for my diary. I hope you enjoy as you read.

Dear diary
I salute ohh 😅😅😅
After a long day travel I arrived Sunday night exhausted and frightened as we had been welcomed with gubshots.(Bamenda for us) I took my bath and slept like a baby. Woke up this morning like I was being forced to get up and prepare for school. The feeling 🤦. I lazily cane down from bed and prayed.

Then I packed up the cloths I tracked with and washed them while my sister cooked. After that. We had breakfast and started watching a YouTube video on steps to make a plain cake. We followed the instructions step by step...

After heating our local oven we poured out mixture into the cake pan and placed it on the fire.

We carefully covered the pot and made a huge fire under it. After about 45 minutes we checked the pot and our cake was ready. It looked so beautiful. Perfectly risen. We were so happy. Our first trial and it was this good.

We did not wait to have a taste of it. So we did a cut and... Oh my God. It tasted great.

I learnt alot from today's exercise and I will definitely try it again. I encourage all of us to always try something new. It must not be cooking. It could be any other thing you've always wanted to learn. It doesn't kill.

After the baking, my sister helped my nephew do his homework. While I lay on the chair. I was not feeling too well. Probably the tiredness from the journey and all.

Counting from 200 to 300

Not long after that it was dark and since we had no electricity we gathered our stuff. My sister and I were preparing to go to the hospital the next day for her operation. So we prayed and slept early.
