My December. 2021

It's has been a very long hard year and we have come to the end of it. I would like to tell you a big congratulations for making it to the end of 2021. It is not easy.

So I am going to be telling you how my December was...
After returning from set, I didn't rest much. I went in for a program organised by COMAGEND (Common Action for Gender Development) for girl children on the inclusion of female folks in decision making on matters that concerned them.

While there, I learnt alot which made me very sensitive as to how woman are being treated because of their Gender.

During one of the training days, we saw some Women marching the streets of commercial avenue singing. Then I remembered, it's world AIDS day.

At the end of the program, we(the trainees) came up with a drama demonstrating how girl children should be included in decision making on matters which concerns them. This drama got the audience so concerned about the topics we were bringing up.

After the program, I continued with helping mother out in the market. She traveled to Douala to buy more products so I stayed at her place.

Reading a novel "Behold the Dreamers" has a Cameroonian author Imbolo Mboe. The book talks about a regular family who went to the US as a means of searching for greener pastures, all the challenges they faced and how they had to adapt to the western world. The book is sooo nice you want to read it.

For about a week I was at my mother's place.. then started preparing for my cousins wedding. I was going to be the spray girl. It was such an exciting feeling.
She decided to have low cut for her wedding. Amazing right??

The bride in low cuts she'd be rocking it like a star. The wedding was a beautiful one. I bet you. I didn't eat much. My size will not permit me 😂😂
Immediately after her wedding, we started preparing for our Christmas party on Church (only for the older youths) it was a perfect day too.

Me, presenting a Christmas poem. I wrote that poem earlier that morning. I had no idea it would be that nice.

It was a very busy week for me as lots of dresses came in to the pressing to be washed. Then boom! It was Christmas. We sang in church and when I got home, mum and I cooked then I went into the room to have some rest. On waking up, it was 6pm and I had been locked up at home. 😂😂. Everyone went out except me. Since the day was already over, I just put on the TV and watched till when they came back.

After Christmas was a less busy week for me. The rushings are over and it's a clam atmosphere as we all look forward to the new year.

Oh I forgot something. I still keep contact with my crush. Oh yesss. We are getting along so well. He's beginning to like me too. Isn't this amazing? 😍 I hope things turn out good for both of us. Maybe by
this time next year you guys might be hearing wedding bells 😂😂😂
