STEEM FOR BETTERLIFE | My Diary Game Of Friday 20/05/2022| Celebrating The National Youth Day At Home With Friends And Celebrating The Birth Of My Cousin's child

Introduction

Hello 👋,

Happy Saturday to everyone in here and hope you all spent your day greatly. As for me, my day wasn't bad at all because I tried to accomplish all my mission for the day. I'm very happy to be dropping down my diary game of yesterday Friday 20/05/2022 which happened to be a National Youth day celebration across the entire nation though we didn't celebrate it in the English speaking regions of Cameroon due to this ongoing Anglophone crises that made us to remain indoors for almost a week now.

Without further waisting any time, let me explain how I spent my yesterday

Dear Diary,

morning period 🌅

It was 20th May which is a Memorable day that is always celebrated every year in our beloved nation Cameroon. It's quit unfortunate that we were on ghost town since Monday 16/05/2022 simply because the Separative fighers wanted to disrupt this special day as a sign to make the government and the entire world that we are in seriouse crises

However, I got up from Bed that day at about 7am in the morning. I first of all browsed for about 30 mins by going through my steemit account and my WhatsApp. After browsing, I committed my day into God's hands then stepped out of bed and eased my self after which I then joined my siblings in doing house chores. I dry-cleaned the house. After dry-cleaning, I took my siblings and we went and carried water. We came back while our sister had prepared breakfast, we then ate

After eating, I began browsing and chatting with friends online most especially @tangwe-rene whom I'm still mentoring heavily because he aspires to know a lot about this platform. So I always spent most of my time discussing with him on WhatsApp if we are not opportuned to meet since we stay far apart. As I was discussing with @tangwe-rene and my other friends on WhatsApp, I was at thesame time making use of my steemit account as I was reading, commenting and up-voting Steemians articles that where of my interest

I carried out this exercise for about 2 hours then decided to go and meet up with my friends because he invited me over to came so that we could all celebrate the Youth day at his place

So I dressed up then dashed to his place. It's not far from mine and we live in thesame neighborhood.

When I arrived the road, the road was extremely very empty, stores and shops where all closed. Just few people where at the road. So I hurriedly went to my friend's place because I heard the military where patrolling the road and tormenting civilians, most especially the ones that had no Identity Card or those who where looking very suspicious

I finally arrived my friend's place. It took me a total of 10-mins to arrived my friend's place because we live very close to each other.

Afternoon 🌞 period

When I arrived my friend's place, it was already noon time because it was almost 12pm. My other friends where already at this my Friend's house. All of us are playing together in thesame veteran football club. So my friend ordered for drinks in a store at their compound but unfortunately all sweet drinks had finished and I don't take alcohol. So there was no way I could drink

As we where having fun, we where also watching the match pass in the TV because they is always match pass during Youth day celebration as all schools, government officials and different types of military groups usually parade during that day.

As we where in the living room making fun, my friend's junior sister prepared a special meal for us. It was fufu corn, huckleberry and fried tomato sauce with dry bambalang fish( bambalang is my friends village). She finished cooking then served us with some

After eating, we continued having fun as we made a lot of noise. Then at about 3pm, my cousin brother by name Amos who is living in Douala (Litoral region) called me and gave me a good news that his wife had just put to birth a handsome baby boy. Oooh my goodness 😍. I was extremely very happy and ask him to sent me the pictures of the child and he did emmidiately without no hesitation. Below is tye chat we had on WhatsApp

When my cousin told me this news, I was extremely very happy 😊 because it's the best news I had ever heard since this month started

After discussing with my cousin. I descoverd that my friends had talked until sleep took them away because they over drank🤣🤣

Evening 🌆 Period

At about 4pm In the evening, we all left and I went back to the house. On going, I saw roasted maize and I couldn't past without buying it

I bought one roasted Maiz for 200 FCFA (about 1.2 STEEM). After buying, I started eating it while going to the house. I arrived the house and my siblings seized the half maize from me. I gave them then emmidiately went and took my bath.

After taking my bath, I rested for sometime in a sofa in the parlor. After resting, it was now time for work because I needed to start working on my engagement challenge post for the next day contest since I had already posted the one for that day. It took me about 2 hours to creat the post. I then saved it in my machine so that I could post it the next day. After that I continued chatting with friends on Facebook WhatsApp and also reading a lot of articles in Steemit while commenting and up-voting some. It was about 10:30pm when I was extremely very tired 😩😴 and feeling sleepy 🥱. I then retired to bed and thank God for the day well spent then finally slept

Conclusion
