Steem greetings my dear steemians, hope y'all are doing great. I'm sadly announcing the kidnap of my uncle @chiakingsley by the Ambazonian fighters at Bafut in the Northwest Region of cameroon and we are worried alot. He was kidnapped by them since 1week ago on Wednesday 08-09-2021 and we thought it was a minor issue. To our greatest surprised, They started first by telling us the family members that before his release, he will need to provide them with 4 AK'S which one AK causes roughly 1.500.000FCFA. That means 4 AK's will cause roughly 6million Frs.
Later they saw that we couldn't provide that huge sum of money, so yesterday we still got a call from them saying they have changed their minds. That we should provide them with the sum of 1.000.000 FCA before this month runs out else they will harm him.
So dear steemians, I beg 🙏 on y'all to put my uncle into prayers Because we never know what this boys are upto. This is even the second time this amba boys are kidnaping my uncle. The first time was 1 year ago and we had to rescue him by giving the Kidnappers the sum of 1.500.000 FCFA.

This is one of the great consequences of this struggle besides deaths. Some of the lazy youths have seize this opportunity to terrorize the inhabitants of the two regions whereas that was not the main aim of the struggle. I earlier had a same experience with my Dad where he was almost shoot cuz he was already at gun point untill he received a helping hand from GOD which turned the kidnappers to quarrel amongst themselves as to who was going to pull the trigger. So they later had to demand for money which was giving to them that night. So my

It's really terrible because we don't actually know when this crises shall come to an end because some of this amba boys are using this struggle as their source of income by kidnapping innocent civilians and demanding Money in return

I'm just so fed up with all this rubbish. It was supposed to be a peaceful strive but it has turned to a means of survivalm to the point of making someone suffer for things the know not.
