The Diary Game [31/10/2024] // A Day with Mixed Feelings.
Steem greetings @everyone from the motherland-Cameroon and welcome to my blog as I share my daily lifestyle content with you all. My day started on a food footing at a few minutes pass 1:00 AM as I wake up to curate with the SC03 account.
I spent hours searching for quality content via communities and personal blogs. By the time I was done curating, I decided to do one or two things in the house. I washed my baby's dirty clothes and then later prepared breakfast. My husband assisted to bath the kids and dressed them, and later dropped them off to school.
Guys, I lost my VISA bank card and I was not chanced to go to the bank to block the card. I tried writing them through their website but unfortunately no response. I woke up receiving alerts of transactions done with my card unaware. I had to immediately take a day off to rush to town and ensure that the card was disabled.
I was imagining the queue I will follow at the bank giving that it is month end and many civil servants will be queued up to collect salaries from the bank. I was so lucky that it was early in the morning and no queue to follow. I was ushered to the counter by the security officer on duty where I explained my ordeal and they gave me a paper to write a request application for the card to be blocked.
When I handed the written request, my card was immediately blocked and now I have to pay for another card to be issued. I was so angry and I left without buying a new card.
When I left the bank, I decided to take a walk at the commercial street and also went inside the Bamenda main market to buy hair conditioner and hair-neutralizing shampoo with my serum.
When I went into the market, I already knew the shed number where I usually buy body and hair products. I walked into the shop and did the needful. I was warmly welcomed by the shop owner and we had a series of discussions before I left to the food market.
I took a bike to the food market where I hurriedly bought some food items. I bought a bucket of potatoes, a bunch of plantains.
I returned back home and was still feeling disturbed about my bank card. Then I noticed my kids milk was finished and no detergent as well to wash dresses. I rush to a nearby vendor and purchase the milk and detergent.
Full cream milk and detergent powder.
While at home, I had to fill out the google sheet for our final report as curators this month. Then my baby needed to drink milk. I immediately heated water and prepared him milk to drink. Without him drinking the milk, it would be difficult for him to sleep. After drinking the milk, he sleeps for hours and I have time to do my personal work.
I concluded my day by having a chat with some friends and eating dinner together as a family. Until my next diary session, it is a good night from my end.
