The Diary Game. Assisting at a Friend's Burial , 4th-5th Feb 2022

The deceased

Hello good people. When you lose a love one it seems your life will never be balance. It is time you receive consolation and comfort from friends and well wishers. Friday 4th and Saturday 5th were the days set aside for the removal , burial and celebration of the departure of my friend's father.

I left Bamenda on Thursday 3th hoping to reach Dschang in the evening . I arrived at about 5:30pm and waited for the March to start . I watched the match and slept with so much disappointment 🤣🤣🤣🤣 .

The next day i dashed straight to my friends house where they where making all the arrangements ..I carried the window to mortuary on the bike and we waited for my friend to come. He came and handed some T-shirts for me to sell while he was doing last minutes arrangements to remove the corpse .

The corpse was removed and put on the car where we headed straight to the park to make few minutes arrangements before departure for Alou (the village).
While in the village burial rites were done and burial followed suit entertainment followed afterwards . The was a huge crowd who came to mourn together with the family .

Saturday was set aside for the celebration. I rushed to Dschang , spent the night before returning to the ceremonial ground .In-laws to the deceased came prepared and performed marvelous traditional dances . Children of the deceased equally performed traditional dances and it was accompanied by cheering and support from friends and well wishers .

After the dances were performed , all left was eating and drinking . It was also an opportunity for me to meet friends and some parents we have stayed for long without seeing each other.

Everything was good and i started heading to Dschang at about 7:20pm arrived Dschang at 8:30 pm bath , watched the match half way and went to bed. ..

Na so ei take pass..
