The Diary Game, season 3 of 26th February 2021.My Day of Humility .

Dear Stemians,
I am enlightened today with some exciting story to share with you in my lovely Diary Game of 26th February 2021 .

In the morning period, I was so pessimistic as my landlord announced early before I left home that we won't have water this week. I was so disturbed that I had to get myself psychologically ready and also stay to see what was the issue with well and the entire system.
I asked him why we won't have water , he told me the water system is bad and he called some technicians to come and checked the locally drilled system .

I took some time with them people who came to check the normally water drilled system and so how it is locally made. See the images.

I spent some time with these contracted specialists who came to look for an alternative way to supply us water .

After that I headed to the military Court about 10 AM and finally left the Miltary Court in Bamenda at Up station around 12 PM .
Unfortunately I had to wait for Barrister Divine at his office at Commercial Avenue in,Bamenda city the chief town of North West Region of Bamenda , the persons I wanted to see though he arrived some minutes later.

He finally while I was patiently waiting and I collected what I wanted and left to Nkwen, a locality in Bamenda where I live.

My fellow stemians, today marks 11 years since when I enrolled in the University of Dschang in Cameroon as a Law student in the faculty of Law and Political Science.

In this regards meeting with a patron, a senior and a mentor today has been one of the top stories.

Actually I left the University of Dschang in the Western Region of Camerooon, precisely in Menoua Division in 2014 with a Licence in Law as a Jurist minoring in Political Science. So meeting with a senior who graduated from Masters in Law specializing in Human Rights is a dream come through. He shaped more light on his experience in a sister or partner organization .

Upon this sharing or experience i was thrilled with new opportunities ahead of me. Thanks to this special meeting in my career because this meeting made me to discover the new agenda in my career.
However, careerwise as a human resource expert he advice me to take a new steps engaging with the UN Cluster communities and we had some drinks together.
Apart from that we had some discussions about our days back in Dschang. We remembered our cultural nights at former presidents of the Nap student Union in Dschang. In my mandate, he told me of the great cultural nights I use to organized. I was so proud of this recognition especially the 2014 cultural night that I pulled over 5000 participants as he President of the Association.

We took about 3 hours discussing this at a popular bar called Washington DC in Bamenda, one of the best snarks in Nkwen Bamenda.

We took three, three beer bottles just jubilation our sacrifices and our successes not forgetting our double commitment to keep working together assisting one another.

My brother also reminded me of his present engagement with communities through this organization and explained to me the challenges faced so far. I in turn encouraged him as a brother and told him of the promises we have for the future and encouragement as we all demonstrated our readiness to stand for humanity .

This was not the only activity for the day, I was so charged from morning to evening .
In the morning rember I went to the military Court to follow-up a case for my organization the Center for Human Rights and after that I checked on the ongoing project with Divino Chambers to collect a pile of files to verify some data confusion that has been affecting our project at the Center for Human Rights .
After that I went to Mile 2 Nkwen and headed to Bambili to see my friend whose care was impounded by the Military for his exercises plying the highway to Bambili. Finally I succeeded to liberate him after his car documents were seized by the military .After that I joined my friend at Washington through a call when he surprisingly told me he was there drinking .

That is how I had a reunion with my senior in school and a mentor that we shared the good memories from our good old days in the University of Dschang as ex-student presidents of the student Union.

Actually I reached home late at night after meeting with an old school friend and drinking at the Bar together because It was such a special day that got me so excited.

This was a very interesting Day in my career, because he took me down to earth and adviced me to join the school alumni and be part of a family.
Lessons learned !
Humanity, Humanity and generosity.
In fact today has made me a different person.
