Steemit Engagement Challenge S8-W1 | Love is Magical When it is Secured.

Introduction

When Love is in the air everything just feels easier, you find yourself singing melodies out of the blue without even knowing, you find yourself smiling without control in fact it feels like you are in a world of your own which rotates differently from the real one and everything is blissful. Indeed this is the month of Love and what better time to talk about it than now, I thank @steem-cameroon for making this possible for all steemians.

I will start by following the guidelines towards this contest and give everyone the picture I have in my mind so please let’s engage together on this.

👉🏽How True is the assertion that “Love is Magical”?

This is the most true thing I know though as a science student, magic is said to be science that is not understood yet so it’s considered not real but when it comes to this, I’d say Magic is found in the True Love we feel for each other either as a family or a couple or even among friends this Love brings people together despite religion or status, this Love breaks the boundaries of pride, hatred, fear and many more, it destroys the power of the wicked and this Love gives us eternal life in Christ.

If Love can make all these happen then it is nothing else but magical. This bring me to a scenario I saw in the movies where there is this new male student who suddenly crashes into a female student and when their eyes meet it creates a tension between them and that moment feels like forever for both of them, this can be known as Love at first sight.

Now we noticed that just by having eye contact two persons create this tension which is not physical that can only be Magic if not then what??
That’s why I can affirm to the assertion that Love is Magical.

👉🏾 Do you feel secure when you are in love?

The sense of security is brought about when you believe that someone or something can protect you from forms of harm and this sense can only be gotten when someone lets their guard down because that person trusts that they will be in good hands.

That is the feeling I get when I’m with my Loved ones that is my parents, siblings and even my girlfriend, I feel that emotional security that I don’t get to feel anywhere else, so yes I feel secured when I’m in Love because only love can bring me to such a high level of trust for someone or something to the point of letting my guard down.

This also brings me to the scenario of a Father and his son walking on the road on a stormy day and the Father asked the Son Are you scared and the Son answered I am not scared Father because you are with me. Now the Son Loves his father so much that he trusts that his Father will protect him from the storm.

👉🏾 Give three scenarios where this statement is true “Love is Magical when it is secured”

My First scenario is the Love that exists between God and His children. This Love is the greatest assurance for all Believers of Christ because it is for this Love that God Almighty gave his only Son Jesus Christ to be slain so that humanity can survive eternal damnation.

The Love of God and His Children offers the most supernatural security anyone could ask for. First you are secured from all forms of danger, secured from eternal destruction, this Love also offers us an inheritance of the Kingdom of God.

The second scenario I will give is that between a Father and His Son it may be similar to what I gave above but in this case they are walking in the dark woods.

The Love that binds a Father and his Son especially first borns give them an assurance of security in any aspect of life that is why the son will not be scared walking in a dark forest filled with trees because he knows that his father is with him and secures him at every step of the way.

The third scenario is the Loved that exist between couples. This Love is built from scratch that is from when they were strangers to the point where they find themselves defending each other’s interest. To me it is the Love that started the human race from the times of Adam and Eve.

This love doesn’t only provide security but also build trust, confidence and brings them so close that they start to read each other’s thoughts and sometimes finishing each other’s sentences isn’t that Magical??

👉🏾 What are the impacts of this statement on you, your friends, your family, and society?

Today this statement has made me realize what I couldn’t see about Love. On me I now know that if I’m offering Love to someone I must also offer all that it stands for that is trust, forgiveness, security both emotional and physical security too.

On my family I realize that the Love found in a family is what always welcomes me and let’s me say Home sweet home because home is not a house or building it is an environment where you are always welcome and you are safe.

On my community it is what binds us together and would make us come to rescue each other in times of tribulations since a community is made up of Homes it also provides the Love and Security everyone needs in a relationship.
