Very special Greetings to you all in good health and high spirits. Today, I want to share an unforgettable experience that made a particular day the best of my week as I spent it with my patients in the hospital. Instead of the usual celebration with my family, It was a day filled with mixed emotions, hard work, and immense satisfaction. Aiming to bring them some joy and comfort. I choosed to dedicate this day to preparing a special meal for them with the help of the caterers.

Oh! the day began quite early for me, right after my morning devotion. While I missed the warmth and cheer of being with my family, I was determined to make the day special for those in my care. With the help of my dedicated caterers, we set out to prepare a hearty meal of vegetable soup and eba. First of all, the Eba, was made and wrapped . Then we moved to the soup. This choice was deliberate, as I wanted the food to be both nutritious and familiar, bringing a sense of home to the hospital.

The preparation process was a labor of love. We began by sourcing and washing of the fresh vegetables then chopped. Thereafter, the ingredients were introduced into the pot, ensuring the meal would be both nutritious and flavorful. The kitchen buzzed with activity as everyone worked together harmoniously. I supervised each step to ensure the soup was not only delicious but also tailored to the dietary needs of the patients. As the aroma of the cooking filled the air, I couldn’t help but feel a sense of fulfillment, knowing this simple act would brighten someone’s day.

When the food was served, the patients' reactions were priceless. Their faces lit up with excitement, and some couldn’t contain their gratitude, sharing heartfelt words and stories of past Boxing Day celebrations. The atmosphere in the hospital was transformed, brimming with joy and connection.

Although I deeply missed my family but, this experience reminded me of the true essence of selfless giving and spreading love. Seeing the joy in my patients' eyes made every moment worth it. This day stood out as my best of because it reminded me of the power of giving and the joy it brings not just to the receiver but to the giver as well. It was a day of mixed emotions, hard work, and immense fulfillment, and I hope my story inspires you to find ways to bring happiness to others, even in small but meaningful ways.
