First semester exams// 2021/2022 by @annettenoel

Steem greetings to every steemian. Hope we're all good today. There has been a lot of silence from this end due to the first semester examination stress buh I'm back now 😊

I would like to share with steemit how the first semester exams passed.

Normally our exams were supposed to run from the 20th to the 21rst of January but due to some reasons best known by the school authority, the exams were postponed to the 4th and 5th of February 2022 leaving some students who were well prepared for the exams disappointed and others who were not yet ready and needed some more time to prepare were very happy with the decision.

Our internship ended about one week to the exams so we could have enough time to prepare for the exams. Reading in preparation for exams wasn't really easy as most of my friends would call me complaining of reluctance and laziness to read their notes... It was the case with me though but all we could do was encourage ourselves and put in more efforts cos recite is not easy.

We battled with reading till we had just one day to go. I went back to bambili on the 3rd, Thursday and on Friday (the D day) I got up very early, prepared myself and headed to school. The exams started at 7:30am with medical surgical nursing.😥it was so taugh that most of the students came out of the exams hall with frowning faces. The next course was community health nursing which was equally taugh but not as taugh as the first. After some time we were told to submit our papers, and in no time we were in for the third and last course for the day which was human nutrition and dietetics. Everyone came out wearing smiling faces 😊 an indicator that this particular course was good. This was all for the day so we all retired home while discussing about the previously written courses.

The next day, Saturday I got up quite late OMG 😲 I hurriedly had my bath and left for the school campus.. no time for breakfast😔. On arriving at the hall, they had been writing for some minutes already so I went in still sweating and took my question paper and answer sheet,sat down and started writing. They announced the stop time when I still had like some 10 questions left so I just filled in the answers without knowing if they were correct or wrong options since the exams is multiple choice. I was so sad for that course, biostatistics. We wrote the last course, pharmacology afterwards and that was all about the second semester examinations for me.

Ouff come and see freedom/ peace of mind 😁 I slept that day untiiill 😂.
