The diary game 14/10/2020- #ENDSARS Era

#Endsars is the trending tag in Nigeria right now. SARS is Special Anti-Robbery Squad. They were created out of Nigeria Police Force to combat serious crime and robbery issues but they left their lane and began to oppress the Innocent Nigerians. This issue started many years ago but people were hoping things will change but things were only getting worse.

The protest is going on in all 36 states in Nigeria and many international bodies are beginning to check the issues out.

The Inspector-General of police end SARS 4 days ago and announced SWAT after 48 hours. This clearly shows that they only changed the name.

The protests continue. Today is another day for my lecture but it was a different story. There was serious hold up because of the protesters. However, I got to the class just 10 min past 10 in the morning but the class commenced around 11 am. It lasted for 3:30 min and I left there at 3 pm.

The road was even worse with hold up on my way back home. I was in hold up for more than 2 hours. While I was going home, I branched a friend shop to pick up a cloth. I bought a Barcelona jersey.

I left there after an hour and I took a cab back to my house. It was already late but the hold up was already reducing. I spent only 40min on the car. I got to the house around 7:40 pm. I was already hungry. I ate the garden egg and later ate bread.

That was how 14th of Oct 2020 was for me.
