The Diary Game : 14/11/2020 - Supervising Blocks Laying Work in My House

Hello Lovely Diarist!

You are welcomed to diary game. I was so tight today. Going ups and downs in my compounds organising materials for block laying around the base of my poly tank I had erected.

It was in my plans today being Saturday, that I would invite Masons to lay blocks at the base of my poly tank. In my last daily game, I showed you Guys when I was monitoring the Removal of the blocks and cements in my house.

When this place is done, it could help storage of some waste and outmoded materials, like old doors, rubbers, shovel, metals and even storage or water in rubbers.

Three(3) qualified Masons have I invited today to work at this place. Two(2) would be laying the blocks, while the other one(1) would be feeding them with mortar.

They are arrived here as early as 8;30 am. By then I had woke up, washed my face pasted and even sucked my hot tea.

I directed them outside the wall, where sands are deposited. The other Mason who would be feeding them with mortar pushed his second class lever(Wheel barrow) to fetch the sand.

The next action was to supervise that they mix the mortar with the right quantity of cemment. I had in stock five(5) bags cement each weighing 60kg. They took two(2) to begin the work, leaving three(3).

The labourer began the mixing of the mortar. The tap too was running, so they didn't find any difficulties on water. I observed the ratio of sand to the cement, and it was quiet good to strengthen the building. The labourer in this case had to do double work - conveying blocks to the two(2) Masons and at the same time, fetching mortar to them. I could see that he was tired. But they would soon finish laying the blocks since they began early.

They finished laying the blocks and polishing all the surface around 1 pm. I paid their working pay of Ghc 300.00/ $51. Already the cement and the blocks I bought amounted to Ghc 700.00. This amount plus the Mason's workmanship would exactly be Ghc 1,000.00/$170.00. For the sand I didn't buy, since I was having some heaped outside my wall.

Due the pressure in the morning, I could engage myself in my daily physical exercise. But, after relaxing for a while, I had a chance to ride on my friend's bike. He pays me a visit and I had to take it ride on my compound for few minutes. I think is the same as engaging myself in my physical activities. All my joins got stretched and I felt very energetic. When we were Young we used to call this kind of bike "macho bike." Since if you to it for long time, it builds your muscles on shoulder and sternum. You would be always lean on it. I am not often use in riding this bike looking at the thin nature of its tyres. But I know how to ride it, anyway. I remember during my secondary school time, I used to ride. But now when I sit on it I frightened.

I don't I did extra busy activities aside what I have shared here with my funs. What I did were minor activities, just to support my wife and my kids. I had to fist bath to get rid of the sweat that has released on my body and to also look fresh.

When I finished, I took my supper. My wife wasn't fit, so I supported the bathing of my young boy; Jude. I dressed him. I have to guide my kids to learn before going to bed with them.

This is how I completed by diary game, full of pressure. But the only thing that mattered was that I was able to achieved my goal by the end of the day.
