What the wife can do to support the family

I have a great amount of respect for women. Women are not just there to look beautiful, but they are the pillars that keep their families together. In order for your family to be strong, you must know what you should do as a wife.

The wife is the head of the home (not family head) and she has a position to uphold. She must set the example for her children, not only from the way she acts around them but from what kind of values and morals she stands for. This can be done by doing her best to care for her husband and make him feel loved and appreciate. She should also take an active part in making decisions for their children as well as herself.

The wife’s role during a family crisis may become more complex. She may need to coordinate her own and her family’s needs with other duties at work, school and home. In our roles as wife, partner, colleague and friend we can help each other when our lives are turned upside down by an illness or medical condition.
