Saludos a todos los miembros de esta versátil e incluyente comunidad como lo es @SteemitTigers soy un venezolano, residenciado en la hermosa Ciudad Bolívar, capital del estado Bolívar. Hoy en un día normal me levanté temprano (6 a.m.). Realicé mi aseo personal para luego disfrutar de un té de toronjil y esperar el desayuno que preparaba mi amada esposa.

Greetings to all members of this versatile and inclusive community as it is @SteemitTigers I am a Venezuelan, residing in the beautiful Ciudad Bolivar, capital of the state of Bolivar. Today on a normal day I woke up early (6 a.m.). I did my personal hygiene and then I enjoyed a lemon balm tea and waited for breakfast prepared by my beloved wife.

Desayuné unas panquecas con mantequilla y queso:

I had pancakes with butter and cheese for breakfast.

Como lo hago cada día realicé labores de limpieza en el patio, apilé y recogí hojas para luego echarlas en una bolsa, mi nieta Grace me ayudó en esto. Luego fui a darle de comer a mis mascotas, unas tortugas de tierra que tengo desde hace unos años.

As I do every day, I cleaned up the yard, piled and picked up leaves and then put them in a bag, my granddaughter Grace helped me with this. Then I went to feed my pets, some land tortoises that I have had for a few years.

Después del desayuno hice algunos arreglos en el jardín y sobre todo en algunas plantas que cultivo y que usamos en la preparación de las comidas, como las albahacas, el culantro y chibolet, también mi nietica fue de gran ayuda.

After breakfast I did some work in the garden and especially on some plants that I grow and that we use in the preparation of meals, such as basil, coriander and chibolet, also my granddaughter was a great help.

A media mañana una vecina nos solicitó hielo, pues ella no tiene nevera y el calor en nuestra ciudad es fuerte, con mucho agrado le enviamos una botella con agua congelada, su pequeña hija vino a recogerla.

In the middle of the morning a neighbor asked us for ice, as she does not have a refrigerator and the heat in our city is strong, we gladly sent her a bottle of frozen water, her little daughter came to pick it up.

Al medio día mi esposa preparó un rico almuerzo: espagueti con carne molida, frijoles negros o caraotas como les decimos aquí y unas tajadas, esta comida la compartimos con el amigo Felix, un vecino que hace 2 años le dio un accidente cerebro vascular y quedó incapacitado para trabajar. Así que siempre que podemos ayudar y compartir lo que Dios nos da, lo hacemos. Luego de despedirnos mi esposa y yo fuimos a tomar un corto descanso.

At noon my wife prepared a delicious lunch: spaghetti with ground beef, black beans or caraotas as we call them here and some slices, we shared this meal with our friend Felix, a neighbor who 2 years ago had a stroke and was left disabled and unable to work. So whenever we can help and share what God gives us, we do it. After saying goodbye my wife and I went to take a short break.

En la tarde salí a buscar un poco de agua potable (con un cuñado) ya que por el sector por donde habito hace más de 3 años que no llega agua por las tuberías y tenemos que ingeniárnosla con carruchas y tambores para transportar el preciado líquido, al caer la noche cenamos algo ligero y fui a ver una película de corte policiaco.

In the afternoon I went out to get some drinking water (with a brother-in-law) because in the area where I live it has been more than 3 years that no water comes through the pipelines and we have to manage with carts and drums to transport the precious liquid, at nightfall we had a light dinner and I went to see a crime movie
