This time I will share a simple cooking recipe that is easy to make and saves time in making it, which is made from water spinach, as we know that water spinach is one of the vegetables that contains vitamin A, which is good for the eyes. And water spinach is very good for overcoming anemia, water spinach is also a food rich in fiber.
Here I will share a recipe for stir-fried water spinach with shrimp paste, onions and chilies. This is a delicious water spinach dish that can be addictive and make you want more rice, hehe.
5 green chilies
4 red chilies
5 cloves of shallots
4 cloves of garlic
1 shrimp paste
1 tomato
2 tablespoons margarine
- The first step is to cut the water spinach, remove the stem part that is close to the roots because the stem is quite hard, after everything is cut, then wash it clean and set the water spinach aside.
- After that, take the chilies and slice them all, then wash them all clean. After that, take a frying pan, put 2 tablespoons of margarine in the pan until it melts, then add the sliced chilies and tomatoes, cook until they are all wilted and fragrant, then add the shrimp paste.
- After that, just put in the pieces of water spinach that have been washed clean, then add a little water then stir the water spinach evenly and cover the water spinach tightly so that the cooking process is faster for about 3 minutes then open the lid of the pan and stir the water spinach evenly and add a little salt and you can also add seasoning but here I don't add seasoning because I have added tomatoes. As a natural seasoning at home I rarely use seasoning so I often use tomatoes or shrimp as natural seasoning in my cooking
After everything is put in, don't forget to check the taste to see if it tastes right. If it's right, turn off the stove and let it cool for a while. Then the stir-fried water spinach is ready to be served with a bowl of warm rice and several other side dishes such as fried fish and fried tempeh. This is a simple menu that is really delicious and also healthy.
