Live in the moment
Living in the moment means, without worrying the past and future living in the present. It gives the time to appreciate tiny things such as hearing birds’ sound, warm cup of tea, or laughter with a loved ones.
The first lesson I learned, from “Living in the moment” was how much time I wasted thinking about “What if” and” What was”. Because these thoughts missed very beautiful things and happiness in front of me. I realized that I can’t change the past, as well as I can’t control the future fully. Therefore, I decided to live in the present moment at all times.
Another lesson I learned from “Living in the Moment” is the importance of gratitude. When I stopped to appreciate what I had, I felt lighter and happier. Imagine a beautiful sunny morning or a kind smile you receive from a stranger, all of this small happiness reminds you how valuable life is.
The next important lesson I learned from “Living in the Moment” was to be patient. It taught me to slow down and let things happen while remaining in the present. When I thought about my next step too much, I became stressed. Therefore, I learned to focus on one thing at a time, which helped me stay calm and prepared me to face the challenge.
It also taught me how to interact with people more effectively. When I listen to people, without focusing my attention on anything else, I find that it helps me to develop a stronger relationship with them.
Actually, it is not an easy thing to live in the moment, there are times I catch myself overthinking. But, as our Load Buddha taught us I remind myself to breathe, smile, and pay attention to what is happening around me.
Life moves fast, no one knows what is happening tomorrow. Therefore, I believe we need to live today fully. Celebrate little victories, enjoy time with loved ones, and find happiness with simple things. It may be challenging, but it is necessary to achieve satisfaction in our lives.
