Steemit Engagement Challenge: My experience with The Diary Game

There are many reasons why The Diary Game has been close to my heart and one of my reasons to be here on Steemit. I've shared a few of my experiences with the diary game and it's influence on me and my life.
Participating in the diary game has really helped me in improving my writing skills, vocabulary and my way of expressing things. While writing the diary I try to be more expressive, precise and try to use the words and phrases that convey my message easily yet in a beautiful way. In short because of the diary game my communication skills have been polished.
Because of the diary game I've been given a chance to read some of the amazing diaries of other people and know about them, their lifestyle and made some of good friends here on Steemit too. It gave me an exposure and a chance to learn many things from different people.
When I first joined Steemit, I didn't know much about it and I started participating in the diary game. At first I didn't get many votes but then the appreciation I got in the form of votes and comments really boasted my confidence and self-esteem. One of the reasons I'm working on Steemit successfully is my participation in the diary game. It reminds me of the time when I used to come back from my school and write about my day.

In addition to my communication and social skills writing the diary game has helped me become more creative in taking pictures and hence have improved my photography skill too. I try to be more creative in presenting my content and in the use of pictures to make my content appealing and in doing so my creativity and photography skills have been improved.

Few of the embarrassing moments includes those times when I'm so busy capturing different pictures of my environment to share in my dairy game and forget about the people around me who're noticing me and silently judging too.
Either it's a grocery store, market, parlour or any place, I try to capture the pictures and sometimes when I'm told that it's not allowed it feels embarrassing.
Even when I order some food I first try to take it's pictures and my family and friends make fun of me which is sometimes embarrassing.
My overall experience of the diary game has been extremely good and it has impacted my life and my personality in a very positive way. It has improved my skills and knowledge too. Helped me learn something new from different people, their culture, hobbies, interests, favorite food etc. With this I'd like to end my post here.
