Hello to the community of Steem-Venezuela! Feliz año nuevo! Thank you so much for organizing such a lovely contest for us to participate @anasuleidy. 2021 has been a bit of a different ride than other years. Yet all of us around the globe managed to make it as memorable as possible. Let me take on a journey that I went.
As the first month of the year, we had a great head start to begin with that energy helps to grow bigger through out the whole year. Me and family had a fireworks session on the first day of January. That was the memorable thing that happened in January.
Normally when a new year starts, we make plans right? As I much as you loved to travel, I also had my plans. But thanks to Covid we couldn’t go anywhere during January. However, after a long period of time stuck inside our homes, we decided to go out and enjoy some fresh air.
Now things were getting quite normal, so my friends and I had a chance to meet for the first time for the year 2021. This was when we gathered for our friends’ birthday party at her place. We all were into tears, the last time we last saw each other was when we did our exams at school. We all had a pretty great time there.
April for us Sri Lankans is one of the most remarkable months in the year. Its because of the Sinhala and Tamil New Year. This picture was taken during the Aurudu celebrations my friends had organized.
April was my birthday month, since everyone was busy with studies and work, we had to shift the birthday party for the next month and that was May. Here’s a small snap of my family.
You might be thinking that the only thing I did during 2021 was partying. Hell NO! I was not. This contest was to showcase our unforgettable memories we had last year. When talking about unforgettable, there were quite a few. But the best times were with my family, friends, and in-laws.
Me and my work buddy met after a long time. So that was an enjoyable day for me.
More than half of the year had gone by. During the month I visited one of my friends’ places and met this cutie. Heard so much about this doggy but met him for the first time.
The little gift from heaven was sent exactly one year ago. I was imagining my self in the month September, so basically my sisters’ little buddy came to us on the 2nd of September 2020. And my fathers’ birthday also falls on this month. I’ll just the share my fathers’ birthday celebration for now.
Months had just flown, I guess. Because when I look back at 2021, I’m still processing 2019 December. We had made memories right from the beginning I see. Me and my sisters’ lil family went on a beach date.
Closer to end yet enjoying the maximum of it I must say. My brother-in-law’s birthday was a fantabulous one. Couldn’t be more grateful for this bunch that I’m stuck with.
Jingle bells! Though we aren’t Christians, who doesn’t love Christmas anyway. So, here’s us celebrating Christmas at my sisters in laws place this time.
Hope I took you through a beautiful journey showing my last years’ recap. This was just a glimpse, am overview I must say. As you can see our smiles talk more about those lovely moments that we cherished.
