SEC-S5:W3 – The Diary Game: Thank you

I am sincerely grateful to God Almighty for the gift of life and sound health. It hasn't been easy for me since this week started. I was facing some health challenges, of which Thursday, 11/11/2022, seemed to be the worst day that I could not even figure myself out again. All thanks to God for healing me.

Myself feeling sick

On Thursday morning, I woke up very late, and the moment that I got out of bed, I started having some strange feelings within me. It was as if there were something inside my eyes because I was seeing things double, and equally, I started blowing out Catarrh from my nose and coughing so hard.

I immediately stood up from bed; I had to even force myself. I prayed for short minute because I was feeling weak, and after praying for a very short time, I then went out of my room to throw out the dry cough that I had coughed out. Immediately, my neighbors saw me, she screamed out loud that I was not feeling fine and was suffering from malaria.

I noticed I had malaria because of the way my mouth started hurting. I even lose my appetite for food. The hot tea that I make, I couldn't even drink it. I still cooked red palm oil rice that I was still unable to eat because of how sick I became on Friday. I couldn't withstand myself, so I quickly rushed to the nearest pharmacy in my street and bought some drugs.

The chemist at the pharmacy store gave me "Havax" and "Paracetamol." I am not used to drugs, and although it has been a very long time since I haven't taken drugs, seeing how big the HAVAX tablet is, I became afraid and worried about how I would be able to swallow it. I pray to God Almighty before taking the drugs.

After taking the drugs, I went to sleep and rested for about 3 hours, later waking up and seeing myself as someone whose eyes were too big for him to carry. My eyes were seeing things twice, even after taking the drugs that I bought.

Because of how I was feeling, I didn't go out of my room. I stayed indoors until 9:30 p.m., when I went out to Fr.Ebube Muson crusade.

At the crusade, I saw how crowded the place was, and in order for me not to be pushed down by anyone, I walked towards a lonely place, which is the seating side of the stadium, and sat down. At the crusade, I experienced a lot of things. You can imagine a person like me, who was sick before going to a crusade, becoming strong and started to dance and pray out loud.

It was at the crusade that my health restored itself. I became strong as usual throughout the night, and even right now I am very strong, for which I am so grateful to God Almighty. Thank you, God Almighty, for healing me.

My gratitude goes to God Almighty for healing and blessing me. Without God in my life, I wouldn't have existed again or thought of participating in this contest.
