in my country there is a proverb that is the opposite of the one you mentioned.
"Empty barrels speak loudly".
The proverb is used to describe a person who likes to say a lot of words but does not match what he does. In other words, it is nonsense.
In my country this trait seems to be predominantly inherent in those very politicians.
How are the politicians in your country? Do they keep their promises when given trust?
