We all use proverbs to give advice, teach or reinforce morality, give reasoning, remove interpersonal tension, impart knowledge, aid understanding or console or motivate others.

What is the most popular proverb in your country?

There are many popular proverbs in our country like-

(1) I am your guest if you don't know me.

(2) If you do bad, you will be bad.

(3) Even a dog is a lion in his own lane.

(4) Come, bull, kill me.

(5)One pomegranate causes a hundred diseases.

(6) Well in front and ditch behind.

(7) Boy next door, beating drum in the city.

(8) Empty gram beats loudly.

(9) Drums from far away sound pleasant.

Among the sayings I have mentioned above, many are my favourites.

It means that if someone does bad to someone, bad things happen to him.

When everyone in the house gives me a task at the same time, I say One Pomegranate Hundred Sick.

 To take a camel through the eye of a needle

When I find a task impossible, I say that this task is equal to taking a camel through the eye of a needle.

   To praise oneself

When someone goes on praising himself, I feel that he is praising himself.

When a big work is about to be completed and everything stops due to a small problem, then I say that.

    false gram which makes a lot of noise.

When someone has nothing to do and he keeps on making a lot of noise, then I feel that this is a false gram which makes a lot of noise.

When someone's thing is lying near him and he is looking for it here and there, then I say that it is a false boy who is lying next to him and making noise in the city.

Which of the proverbs you usually quote is the most educational?

All the proverbs are educational. But "Education is not filling a bucket but lighting a fire". I feel that this proverb is the most educational. Because education does not only mean imparting knowledge but it also inspires a change.

Do you think that proverbs can be an effective way to reach out to the new generation?

Yes, proverbs can be an effective way to reach education to the new generation. Because proverbs have a quick impact on the new generation.

Because I think that education should be such that it can fill the future generation with faith, love, cooperation and self-esteem.

It is fun to learn from proverbs.
