Contest: Move (Muévete)
It is my pleasure to take part in the contest named “Move” established by @inspiracion in Steem Venezuela. This contest is in perfect agreement with the opinion concerning the necessity of keeping fit —in body and mind. I am looking forward to putting down my ideas on how movement enhances living and the process of aging.
The phrase “You don’t stop moving because you get old, you get old because you stop moving” really hits me. With this it brings out the decoder on the issue to do with strong appeal on need to be active not only physically but also psychologically as a way of aging gracefully. I can recall this phrase numerous times and each time it is a prompt to get me up and occupied, no matter how old I will be.

Thinking about my own life and how it has changed, I see how importance it is to maintain activity level, especially when one is conducting the role of a mother together with performing all other daily chores. Raising a three year old has made me realize how various exercises like playing with him and managing household duties keeps me on my feet and alert. I think that any kind of motion should be insured taking into consideration that it is a very beneficial remedy for the organism.

I also know that using this philosophy is not only about constantly getting the body moving–it helps the mind to wake up as well. It will always be enjoyable for me to discover new things that I can do such as designing dresses, mandala art and other things for that matter; and such exhilarating activities challenge my brain hence it always stays active. That is why to avoid such feeling it is helpful to be curious and actively participate in different actions.
Besides that, commitment to a women’s welfare organization serves to remind me of the role of movement in my life. Volunteering also has given me a way to be involved with others, swap story, and in overall be a productive member of society. It makes my brain busy and soul happy; it teaches me that not only do we exercise our bodies but our emotions and social aspect as well.

For me this phrase also asserts the notion that does not mean turning old implies that one must stop moving or becoming less productive. It is a mentality that I accept and attempt to follow at all times. I wish to grow up thinking that age is not an inhibitor to movement or for learning. Not matter it is travel, tour around Jashore or spending quality time with family, I make sure to keep on with this progression – both physically and metaphorically.
To summarize, I applied this phrase to the different aspects in my lives and I strongly believe that lifes active people can age gracefully.

Hello friend, how nice that you belong to a volunteer group, wonderful, that keeps you quite active and when we have our small children as in your case, we do not stop being active, if being active is aging gracefully, your words are very nice.
Living life as a mother raising a three-year-old child certainly requires a lot of movement. But it must be accompanied by high patience. If not, then the benefits of movement obtained there will be in vain. We often see a mother who raises a child under the age of five without patience tends to be stressed, and this can actually accelerate aging. Greetings, may you and your child always be healthy…
Es importante mantenerse activos en diferentes niveles, tanto físico como mental, como lo has explicado, porque ciertamente así se puede envejecer con gracia. El hecho de cuidar de tu pequeño hijo también implica mucha actividad.
