RAPAI TRAINING

Introduce me @zikri-steem on this occasion I want to share my activities tonight.

Tonight my friends and I are practicing playing a typical Acehnese musical instrument, namely the rapai, because soon we will be holding a rapai daboih.

This is a picture of our training process

Rapai is made of wood and animal skins. The shape is like a tambourine with the basic colors of black and light yellow. A type of percussion instrument that functions as a traditional art accompaniment.

There are many types of Rapai: Rapai Pasee (hanging Rapai), Rapai Daboih, Rapai Geurimpheng (Rapai kinds), Rapai Pulot and Rapai

Rapa'i is a percussion instrument originating from Aceh.

Rapai's voice also makes the atmosphere more lively, lively and can foster the enthusiasm of the audience who is watching a show

Rapai uses rattan (awe) to amplify or raise the voice. To produce a rattling and crisp sound, a metal plate is used on the side of the baloh like the jingle on a tambourine.
