The little one in the house.

This is what our land tortoise was like when they gave it to us. It was small and, as it still is, very tender and a big eater. At that time we fed it papaya and it loved it. My daughters really enjoyed feeding it.

It ate quickly and waited for more. Pets eat and eat whenever you give them more, so you could spend the whole day feeding it and it would be there waiting for more.

Then as it grew and we added other fruits and other foods, it began to hate papaya. Nowadays it eats it occasionally.
