1/3 cup soy sauce
3 tablespoons brown sugar
2 tablespoons vinegar
1 teaspoon sesame oil
1 teaspoon grated ginger
1 clove minced garlic
1 tablespoon corn flour
Ingredients for serving:
cooked rice Nasi
Steamed vegetables
Onion Slices
Sesame seeds
2. Bake tofu until crispy
The process can be started by processing tofu first. The trick is to prepare spices such as soy sauce, oil, corn flour, and pepper. Mix all ingredients until evenly distributed.
If you have, you can dip all the tofu into it and place it in the pan. Bake for 30 minutes until browned and crispy in texture.
3. Make the teriyaki seasoning
While waiting for the tofu to finish baking, you can make the teriyaki seasoning first. Prepare a skillet to fill with 1/4 of the water, brown sugar, soy sauce, vinegar, sesame oil, garlic, and ginger.
Use medium heat for about 10 minutes until the teriyaki sauce subsides a little. Add the cornstarch and stir for 1 minute until the texture becomes thicker.
4. Stir tofu with teriyaki sauce
You can immediately prepare a large skillet to cook the crispy tofu again along with the teriyaki sauce. Stir everything until the sauce covers the tofu to the maximum. You can add salt and pepper to taste so that the taste is more even.
5. Serve the teriyaki crispy tofu with some complementary ingredients
