Governor of Aceh Inaugurates H Mukhlis and Ir H Razuardi as Regent and Deputy Regent of Bireuen.

Governor of Aceh, H Muzakir Manaf on behalf of the President of the Republic of Indonesia Prabowo Subianto, took the oath of office and inaugurated the pair of Regent and Deputy Regent of Bireuen, for the 2025-2030 period, H Mukhlis ST and Ir H Razuardi MT.

The procession was carried out in the Plenary Meeting of the Bireuen DPRK led by the Chairman of the DPRK Juniadi, SH attended by all members of the council which was held, Tuesday (18/2/2025) evening, at the Bireuen Regency Government Center, in Gampong (Village) Cot Gapu, Kota Juang District.

The DPRK meeting was led by DPRK Chairman Juniadi SH and attended by all members of the council, also attended by the Aceh Police Chief, Kasdam Iskandar Muda, Danrem 011/Lilawangsa, members of the DPR-RI, Deputy Chairman of the Aceh DPR, related officials from Aceh Province and Bireuen Regency, guests and invitees.

The Chairman of the Bireuen DPRK, Junaidi in his speech said, among other things, according to Article 70 of Law Number 11 of 2006 concerning the Aceh Government, the elected Regent and Deputy Regent were inaugurated by the Governor on behalf of the President of the Republic of Indonesia before the Sharia Court in a plenary meeting of the DPRK.

"Let us all forget the differences that occurred during the campaign period and when the regional elections took place, now there is no longer a Regent from one group, what exists is the Regent and Deputy Regent of Bireuen H Mukhlis and Ir H Razuardi MT who belong to us all," he said.

Bireuen Regent, H Mukhlis ST in his inaugural speech expressed his highest gratitude to the people of Bireuen Regency who have given us their trust to lead Bireuen Regency for the 2025-2030 period.

"Starting tonight, we no longer belong to a particular winning team or group, but have become the property of the entire Bireuen Regency community. We invite all of us to unite, looking towards a more advanced Bireuen future," he invited.

Regent H Mukhlis hopes for the support of the entire community, let's build our beloved Bireuen Regency together. We are determined to strengthen and advance development programs that support the interests of the wider community that have been implemented by the Regent and Acting Regent," he said.

Meanwhile, the Governor of Aceh, H Muzakir Manaf in his speech also congratulated the newly inaugurated Regent and Deputy Regent of Bireuen. This mandate is a form of public trust that must be maintained well.

Hopefully, all of you can become leaders who are trustworthy, wise, and responsible in carrying out your duties for the next five years. The task that is carried out is not an easy task.

The trust given by the community must be answered with real work and development programs for the benefit of the people. Currently, you have become the Regent and Deputy Regent for the entire Bireuen community, not only for certain supporters, there are no supporters of this and those supporters.

"I need to convey several things to strengthen the work of the Bireuen Regency Government," he said.

First, maintain harmonious relations between the executive and legislative branches. This will strengthen the government's performance in developing Bireuen Regency. Also in ASN development, to prioritize professionalism and capacity, and change the mindset from being served to serving.

Second, the Bireuen Regency Government must always communicate with the Aceh Government. We, as the Governor of Aceh, always support the development of Bireuen for the welfare of the Bireuen community.

Third, involve academics in every development plan for Bireuen Regency, so that development programs can be measured properly.

Fourth, provide space for entrepreneurs so that development programs can create added value and maintain economic growth. Fifth, maintain support from the Bireuen community, so that every development program implemented will have a place in the hearts of the Bireuen community.

Sixth, the prayers of the clerics in Bireuen Regency, so that all Aceh development programs always receive the blessing of Allah SWT. Finally, the Regent, to prepare to participate in activities at Akmil Magelang from February 21 to 28. Specifically, the Deputy Regent will only participate during the closing at the President's briefing on February 28, explained the Governor of Aceh H Muzakir Manaf.
