How To Submit An Abuse Post Link To The Abuse Watcher Discord Server.

Hope all are well. i am @moh.arif (moderator- steem-watcher community) from steem-watcher community.

This is my first post as a moderator in steem-watcher community . You all knew that Our main goal to create steem watcher community is Keeping the Steem platform free from all types of abuse. Now We are fighting against--

• Plagiarism
• Spamming
• Identity Theft
• Copyright Infringement
• Scamming or, any Financial fraud on Steemit
• Phishing Attacks or, any kind of Hacking attempt
• Fake Crypto ICO, IPO or, any Scam Coin Campaign

These 7 types of abuse in steemit platform. But it is never possible for us alone to keep the full Steemit platform abuse-free. So we decided to recruit some detectives to make our job easier. you can See our detective recruitment post from here. After publishing this post lots of user apply for Detective role. After scrutinizing first 20 applications, we already recognized some as a detectives. and the process is still ongoing.

In this post, I am trying to give some guidelines for all detectives. How do you find abuse posts on Steemit and provide links to them in our abuse-watcher discord server.. For finding abuse posts, I think this post will help you much. Please first read this post. carefully. In that post you will get a good idea about what copyright infringement, plagiarism, spamming, and reward farming are. After gathering knowledge about these topics, you can easily find out which posts contain abuse.

After Find an abuse post in steemit.com . To provide a link in the abuse-watcher discord server, each detective should take the following steps:

• Firstly, confirm what types of abuse happened in that post. I mean, firstly, categorize the abuse type.

• Then copy the post link and search for it on the abuse-watcher discord server. If you find that link was provided by another detective, then you can skip that post. you also search steemit username also, if you find that user any post link previously given by any detective , In this case also you skip that user post.

• but if you see that user post link wasn't provide by any detective. Then you submit that post link in The abuse watcher discord server appropriate channel. I mean If that post abuse type was plagiarized content then submit that post link in the # plagiarism-report channel. If it was a copyright-infringement issue, then submit that post link in the #copyright-infringement channel. If it was a spam post, then submit it to the #spammers-report channel. If that post contains a phishing link, then submit the post link to the #phishing-link channel. with the following screenshot format:

• Then you need to wait for confirmation from our executive-moderator @rex-sumon on that link, if that link was react with green that mean your provided post link was considered as abuse, If that link was react with Red that mean your provide post link wasn't considered as an abuse. You can get a clear picture if you see the following screenshot.

• Then your last step is with all green signal links, you should published a report with your shadow steemit id in steem-watcher community. You can follow This post as a reference. after publishing post. you need to provide all red and green signal link in DM to @Abuse Watcher#6822.

• Finally, you need to do one more thing. If you provide a user with a final warning then you submit that username in the final warning spreadsheet .
