0000000000001010 - Steemit Interface PoC - Time To Get Real
I feel that things are going well and since my last update, I have introduced a sensor for adult-related content.
I also decided that I'd reached a point that I was happy to share my progress, so I found a site with free PHP hosting so that you can have a play yourself.

I got to choose a subdomain of a few random domains and quite liked one of the options available 🙂
It took much longer than I'd hoped to get this up and running and it still seems to be quite temperamental - it took a long time for the domain name to resolve itself and I think this is causing a few problems at the moment. I may have sorted itself out by the time you read this but if it hasn't, please hang up and try again.
If you wish to view the "VIP" posts, add the ?vip=true query string to the end of the URL and only these posts will be highlighted.

This Is Important: Since this is free hosting, there's no SSL (security) Certificate. Because this is a read-only site, it shouldn't cause any problems but if at any point you are asked to log in or enter any credentials, close your browser and let me know. It's highly unlikely that this will happen but there's no account-specific functionality so at no point should details be requested.
Similar to adult content, there's no comparison between something you can interact with versus a picture (cue @tomoyan inappropriate GIF) so hopefully you find this useful.
To recap the functinoality available:
- Some posts are hidden because the author is blacklisted
- Adult-content is censored
- Multiple tags can be selected in the right-hand navigation - community tags are available but not separate
- VIP capability
- Blacklisted users
I was already looking forward to a first live impression...
Unfortunately the site is not available.
Well that's annoying. My account's been suspended for "abuse". I've asked for an explanation, otherwise I'll just have to find an alternative hosting solution.
Maybe Steem is just too much for some hosters ;-)

The tag list only appears at the end of the post list and is quite long. Probably all tags are listed there?
Edit: Domain issue resolves 🙂
My guess is that I overloaded their servers.
You could use heroku free credits for this purpose. I run my staging instances on those before I push it to my main branch.
Duplicate and I can't delete it because of that annoying gangstalking shit.

It's all good now, thank you. I asked them why it got blocked and they said it was a mistake on their side. Hopefully this means they've moved me onto a list of people who can do whatever they want so I don't expect to have any problems now. It's been very stable since the unbanned me 😆

I've contacted them and their "auto-fraud" detection didn't like me. It's back on now and I've asked what the likelihood of it going down again is 🙂
