Khaiyachara Jharna is in the Baratakia Bazar area across Mirsarai from Chittagong. I boarded a Noakhali-bound bus from AK Khan in Chittagong. Within an hour, we reached the main road to Khaychhara. It is east of the Dhaka-Chittagong highway. From the main road, one has to go a long way to the east. There is some CNG by the roadside. They go half-way. The fare is 15 rupees per person. We also went half-way by car. As soon as I got out of the car, I saw some people selling small bamboos. All those who are going to the shower have bamboo in their hands. We also bought bamboo for twenty taka.

You cannot walk without this bamboo. The deeper you go, the deeper the muddy ground. Along with the water flow of the shower. All in all, it will be difficult to maintain your balance. Therefore, before going to Khayachara, you must take a strong stick or bamboo in your hand.We are going the same way. From where the car is dropped off, another five minutes walk is required to reach the food hotel. Then you have to order lunch at these hotels. Mobiles and bags can be left in the hotel lockers. So did we.

Then the main episode begins. I asked the hotel people how long it would take to get to the shower from here. He said that if you go quickly, it will take half an hour. Then we also started running fast. The more I go, the harder the path. Somewhere is spring water, and somewhere is knee-deep mud. Many have slipped in the slippery mud. Tread very carefully. The soils of the mountains are so hard, like stones. As you go, sometimes you see the flow of water in the shower. Sometimes I accept the challenge by seeing the difficult path of the mountain. Interestingly, we saw many birds and monkeys on the way. Anyone will enjoy seeing the monkeys. There is also a difference between seeing monkeys in zoos and monkeys in the open forest. Once I came to the first shower, Oh! You have not been told. There are many showers here. I got different opinions from different people. Some say there are seven; others say there are 11. But the first shower is said to be below, and everyone can see it with a little trouble. If you want to see the next shower, you have to take a lot of risks. Because the second spring is all over the hill. The higher you go, the more showers there are. Everything is slippery on a rainy day. There were lots of people in the first shower. Because that's all most people come to. 95 percent of tourists return satisfied from here. But the first shower looks good. It also seems big. The speed of the water in the shower is great. There are many people. It looks like quite a festival. We had 10 people. The four of us decided to check out the rest of the showers. Others do not dare. Some climbed halfway up the mountain and returned.

Anyway, from there, we had to start the main trek to Khaiyachhara Falls. Thick ropes are tied to the trees on the hill. The ropes were very old. I grabbed the ropes from below and started climbing up. Some way up and see no rope. Then I started climbing by holding on to bamboo and trees. I gasped to get up. I took it in the middle. Then I went higher. Seeing the footprints of people, I realised that the shower was nearby. After a while, I heard the sound of water in the shower. Jumping for joy, I went to the shower. I got wet. Nature is also very beautiful. Far up the mountain. I saw 5–6 boys here too. They came from Comilla. I asked them, How many showers? They said, Number five. We were surprised. So I left the rest! Then we decided not to go up. I will go down, enjoy the next shower, and come back. I went down to the fourth shower. I took pictures here for a long time. But it's pretty dark all around. Anyone can be scared alone, even during the day. It was a lot of trouble to get from the fourth shower to the third shower. It can be said that there is no state of descent.

And it will not be wrong to say that the soils of the mountains are called stones instead of soil. I came to the third shower with great difficulty. I enjoyed the nature here. But the water in this shower is quite cold. The scenery around me is amazing. It cannot be explained how beautiful the whole city looks from the top of the hill. After going down, I found the second shower. Seeing it made me sad. I took several pictures in the second shower and went down to the first shower. Where everyone is. Thinking back, what a beautiful creation of the creator! How strange! What beautiful places are around us? What we cannot enjoy even if we want to. Next, we all arrived at the hotel. We ate lunch at five o'clock in the afternoon. I ate and then took the same route home as before.

How to go
From Chittagong city, take different local buses, including Dhaka, Noakhali, and Comilla, for 50 to 80 taka and get off at Khaiachhara Road. The driver's assistant will drop off the helper. At the same time, board a Chittagong-bound bus from any bus counter in Dhaka. On the way to Dhaka-Chittagong Road, cross Mirsrai of Chittagong before Baratakia Bazar and get down in front of Khaiachhra Ideal School. If you go down there and ask the local people, they will tell you which way to go. The people will show you the road; you can go half way to the CNGs standing on the road by paying 15 taka. That's all CNGs do. The rest of the way has to be walked. There is only one road to the waterfall, and you will meet many more adventure seekers on the way, so there is not much fear of losing the way.

Where will you stay?
There is no hotel to stay at in Baratakia Bazar. But you can go up to the chairman's bungalow if you want. Apart from this, you will find several local hotels to stay at in Mirsarai or Sitakunda. You will also find many restaurants to eat in Mirsarai or Sitakunda. Or you can move to Chittagong. If you enter Chittagong city by car from Baratakia Bazar, there are many good-quality hotels to stay in. Apart from that, there are many famous restaurants to eat at.
