Celebrating The Joy Of Sports Day At My Daughter's School !! On 24-2-2023

This is my post about the sports day at my daughter's school. Once a year, they conduct such a wonderful event for all students, teachers, and parents at nearby Grounds in the school's surroundings.
This year, they conduct this activity at Ambedkar Ground, Mogappair and also invite all parents to participate. Due to COVID, we missed these celebrations for the past 2 years. But this time we get an opportunity to enjoy it together. I am so happy to join in on those celebrations.
Because now a days, a lot of schools do not emphasise the importance of sports but instead focus on studies. But I am not happy with those behaviors, which is why I chose a school for my daughter that gives preference to other activities like sports, dance, art and crafts, and many more.

At present my daughter learning Scope Global School, they always try to motivate kids on different activities. Also try to take care on participation. Each student must participate in all activities that they conduct at school. Here, students cannot escape by giving silly reasons. They don't accept it until their parents inform them regarding their health issue. This one attracts me a lot at my daughter's school.
Friday, February 24, 2023, at 8 a.m., Annula Sports Celebrations get started with a parade of all students, flag hosting with lighting lamp, and prayer song. It's really been a wonderful experience for me.
In my Daughter school there is kids from PRE KG to 12th Standard. So based on age level, they conduct sports combinations like bunny jump, ball gathering, lemon and spoon, kho kho, kabaddi, 300-500-700-1000-meter running race, and many more.
Then, after some students from class 5, do yoga asanas from Top 12. It looks like something interesting and happy to me.
I enjoy through out the celebration upto 1pm. After finishing each computation, they offer medals for winners. But this time my daughter did not win a single medal either, which was a disappointment. But lear lot of things like spirit of teamwork, sportsmanship and fair play. I'm so happy with it.
After finishing sports events for students, they conduct for teachers. Its really fun. Then, finally, our chance came to participate in sports events with our kids. It was an amazing and unforgettable experience for us.
After finishing sports day celebrations, we return home with a lot of joy and memories.

Now a days schools focus only studies not sports or other activities, this kinds of events make them active and also put in interest. We make our children better in all side rather than "mark making machines ". Thanks for share a nice post with cute kids

It's great that you were able to be present at the sports celebration at your daughter's school.
You are right, sport is very important for people's health.
Despite the fact that her daughter did not win any medals, she was able to participate in the events, and that is very important. Teamwork and discipline are fundamental to her.

Yes it may be fun when parents or teachers take part in the sports events, but we need to be active for any age
