Hello Everyone 💕 💞,

It's a very lovely day with cool breezeway from the northern equatorial pattern of the North shore here with the shower of 20 minutes rainfall yesterday night. So, today is all about giving it to the @foodfightfriday from my end here which is making food from raw Plantain fruit.

In Nigeria where we have different types of languages, different types of food preparation, different types of Planting skills and also different types of Culture. We are so blessed with Natural resources which are countless to us but for those who actually make more research to know how things are been done in other ways. Today, I want to share another great method to get food from raw Plantain which others may not know or have known. In this case I would like to appreciate the nature for this great natural resources for humans. I will be giving few steps on how to handle and utilize your resources if you are interested in this method of food preparation from raw Plantain fruit.

Step 1.

After cutting down the Plantain tree which sometimes maybe matured or not but in my case I had the matured ones from the tree. I had to placed them down and separated its from the mother branch. Then cut into pieces as well to allow the thick milky juice to reduce and get dried up if possible.

After cutting it into smaller pieces, I cut off the two edges I mean the head and the tail, this was because without this you can't remove the garden back cover or the putter cover of the plantain fruit. This will take a while , then also you leave it for few minutes for the juice to get off a bit. Then you Proceed to step 3.

Step 3.

I had to cut the head and the tail and also slice it upwards and downward too then remove the outter layer of the Plantain fruit. Then Peel it off gradually.

Step 4.

This was how it looks after the peeling of the outter cover , the sliced procedure followed up.

Step 5.

After the slicing of the inner portion of the plantain, the edible part of it. I spread it off the sun to make it dry for three days before packing it up now follow the next step. This is how Plantain Flour process is absolutely come by after a long process and procedures. If you have just few plantain stem you can leave and and use it for this purpose for food.
