Hi Steemit's friends, I am @zubaer
From #Bangladesh

By the grace of the Almighty God, I travel to different places at different times. And I share those travel stories with you. Today, I am back with a travel story. But I have already shared the first part of this travel story with you. For those of you who haven't read the first part of my travel story, I request you to do so. And today I am sharing the second part of my travel story with you. In this episode, I am telling the story of my trip to Lalbagh Fort. I hope you like it.
I will be sharing some episodes of my journey with you in a series. I have already shared the first episode of my travel story. Today I am sharing the second part. And in this second part, I am at Lalbagh Fort.
My friend Rakib and I rented a rickshaw. We will now go to Lalbagh Fort. Anyway, it wasn't too far. So we took a rickshaw and went straight to Lalbagh Fort. When we arrived here, the first thing we did was buy tickets to enter Lalbagh Fort. The ticket price for entry to Lalbagh Fort is given below.

We bought tickets and entered Lalbagh Fort around 2 pm. This is the first time we've both been here, so we're trying to explore the place very well. The entrance gate here was very large. We entered through the big and ancient gate. At that time, many more people were buying tickets and entering. Since it was Friday, there were a lot of people.
As soon as I entered the gate, I saw a plaque on the right. That is, some history of the construction of Lalbagh Fort is written here.
Lalbagh Fort: Shahzada Azam, son of Emperor Aurangzeb, began the construction of this palace fort in 1678 AD. The fort was abandoned in 1684 AD, leaving the construction work unfinished, during the reign of Subadar Shaista Khan.
We slowly entered it and looked around. It was a very beautiful place. We were looking around and taking pictures. Such ancient architectural monuments create a lot of curiosity in the mind. Anyway, the two of us were looking around and finding answers to various questions. There are very beautiful and various flowering plants inside it.
Inside this Lalbagh Fort, there is a hammam, a two-story court hall, a tomb, a three-domed mosque, and a wall. And looking at the designs of these structures, it really seemed like they were being built with such precision. The designs of these ancient structures are truly extraordinary and unimaginable. Although these works were not completed at that time, they were later renovated and developed into a tourist attraction.
Inside the Lalbagh Fort, there is a beautiful and impressive mosque with three domes. One thing I have noticed deeply is that among the archaeological sites in our Bangladesh, there are many mosques. Mosques that are very significant. And the main reason for building these mosques in ancient times is that our land was ruled and dominated by Muslims. They have built very beautiful mosques in different places at different times.
This mosque in Lalbagh Fort is always open to the public. However, this mosque is connected to the outside road. That is, Lalbagh Fort and this mosque are separated by a fence. However, the design of the mosque is very beautiful, even though it is small. Still, the three domes and beautiful design of this mosque make it attractive to some.
We were walking around the entire Lalbagh Fort. We walked along the walls of Lalbagh Fort. Lalbagh Fort is surrounded by a wall on all four sides. We came to a high wall on one side. There is a way to get here. But coming here, both of us were pretty curious. We both talked about different histories. We noticed that there were security guard rooms at the four corners of the wall. In addition, there is a security checkpoint from where guards used to keep watch at that time. Although this architecture was unfinished, I think they created such architecture with these things in mind.
There was a water channel under the wall. I also noticed several other rooms. However, it is unknown what purpose they were built for. Anyway, we looked around. We two friends took pictures and selfies to keep as memories.
This Lalbagh Fort is now an important and beautiful tourist spot. Many domestic and foreign tourists come here. Travel to this beautiful place and try to learn about its important history. And for this reason, the authorities have decorated this place more beautifully.
Many beautiful flowers and trees have been planted here. And this was the ideal time for flowers to bloom. Every tree had beautiful flowers in bloom. I saw white roses, red roses, marigolds, and many other flowers I didn't know the names of. The beauty of flowers gave me joy. I took almost as many pictures of flowers. Each flower is extraordinarily beautiful.
We wandered around and decided to get out of here because we would be visiting a few more places. So after spending some time here, we left. However, this Lalbagh Fort is a very beautiful place. This place is one of the most beautiful places I have ever visited. Anyway, we left and headed to another destination.
The next part (part-3) of this travel blog is coming soon.......
