Greetings dear friends welcome to another week to this wonderful community. It seems the community is reading my mind somehow....😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃. Just scroll gently down to what I have for the week.

Like I said in my previous post about my love for traveling, I really do love it. To think I have a well planned trip for next week and this topic presents itself.

Actually is not a holiday trip but a celebration trip which I want to embark. This year has been a year of God's blessings and goodness to my family. We are blessed with so many females and mature ones like myself. God has it that 5 of us are getting married this year and three very close. In January I received a wedding invitation from my aunts (two of them) though the smallest one is my age too. I was happy as I am planning mine too.
In this light I will be traveling next weekend to the south west region of my country ( Cameroon) for these weddings. These two weddings are just a week interval and I will be making the most of it before mine. This region has a lot of beautiful attraction sites like the beach, zoo, the mountain and the vegetation gives a very beautiful view of the environment.

I plan to stay in Buea town for one 10 days. This will enable me attend the two weddings and spend some ample time relaxing and having fun at the attraction sites. I will also use this time to increase my bonding with my future in-laws as they live in Buea. In fact in will be staying with they for this period of 7 days, go down to Douala after the lady wedding before moving back to Bamenda.
In order to get to Buea I will use the road; by bus which is 6-7 hours drive from Bamenda where I am now. We have poor roads reason why it takes long to move from one town to another coupled with the numerous military road checks

The first wedding is in Limbe which has the beach, zoo, museum and cultural heritage sites and others for tourists. I will mostly be visiting the zoo, the Limbe botanical garden and the beach so as to get close to nature and have a quiet meditation time for myself.
The second wedding will be on Buea town itself which has the mountain view (Mt Fako). It has other beautiful sites like the forest areas where rare species of plants can be found. I won't be going there but tourists who are nature inclined will love the view.
The South West region being a center of attraction has a high living standard compared to my home town. Items are a little costly in this town than in my town. Getting a room at the hotels ranges from 10000 FRS (45.07 steem) for the cheapest rooms to about 50000 FRS (225.36 steem). Quality food at restaurants ranges from 2000 FRS (9.01 steem) to 15000 FRS (67.61 steem) and more. Drinks are moderate. All these prices depends on the quality of life you want during the trip and your pocket. The best thing is always preparing well even for miscellaneous cases.
CONCLUSION
Hopefully, my trip will be a good one as I will be spending time mostly with family and some friends. It will be a lovely and enjoyable one for sure.

Thank you my dear @mariami. Buea is a very beautiful town and tourists visit it a lot when in my country. Most times people leave other regions to go relax and have fun in Buea or Limbe. This is also favoured by it relatively cool and warm climate which facilitates these actions.
Nice to know 2024 is a blessing for you and your family. You are planning to go on a trip to Buea town for 10 days and through this trip you will attend two wedding ceremonies and see the interesting tourist sites there which will surely be a lot of fun. Distance from the city where you live to your destination city is 6-7 hours. Hopefully this time will be reduced if the roads in your city are rehabilitated. It is actually going to be a great time as I anticipate because family is involved and I love being with my family always. You talk of rehabilitation of roads?.... Hhhmmm that's a far fetched dream for my country. That's something we have been crying about for years but moneys meant for it keep been embezzled. Only God almighty will intervene for us.

It's been hot days here in my country for bout two months now due to weather change. This trip will definitely help relieve me of the heat and stress too. Obviously it is good to be a good and enjoyable trip that I can't miss.

Yes friend 2024 has started on a good footing though met with some challenges but the happiness overcomes them. I have been planning to visit this region this dry season for some relaxation and fun.
