Greeting my dear Steemian friends. Today I am going to present to you my new blog which is basically a nursery. I and some of my family members visited this place in Khulna district. I am presenting to you a beautiful experience after visiting there.
Basically that day I went for a visit to my grandmother's house before going to the nursery for which after leaving the house we crossed several roads and reached Khulna Rupsa river ghat. At 11 am we reached the river ghat and then we decided to cross the river by boat. Basically coming to the river bank we continued to enjoy the beautiful beauty of the river bank for some time which was really mesmerizing.
Coming to the bank of the river, I saw several engine-powered boats stopped on which the people who had come to cross the river were crossing the river. Basically I like all these engine driven wooden boats but at the same time I was very scared because I don't know the general and there were many currents in the river which swayed the boats.
Then as per the serial we all board a boat together and then get ready to cross the river. In no time our boat is ready to cross the river and with the engine running, the boat moves forward. I was a bit scared while crossing the river because when the boat started moving there was a big ship passing in the middle of the river causing huge waves which rocked the boat. However, within two minutes of the boat ride, we crossed the river and reached the other side.
After crossing the river we wait for some time on the opposite side of the river because I like the river more and I prefer to enjoy the scenery on the river side. After enjoying the scenery by the river for a while, we set off again for my grandmother's house and the nursery to visit.
We hired a van to go to my grandmother's house and the nursery. From Rupsa river in Khulna to Kazdia village, van hire is 15 BDT or 0.4 Steem per person and the distance from Rupsa river to Kazdia village is about 5 km. The van fare here was a bit less depending on the distance which I liked quite a bit. After traveling for about 25 minutes in the van, we reached Kazdia village market and then we got down from the van.
After getting down from the van we found a sweet shop inside the market before heading to grandma's house and from there I went to the shop to buy some sweets. Going to visit grandma's house after a long time for which it is important to take sweets for grandma's family members.
Anyway I went to the sweets shop myself and saw different types of sweets there. As far as I know the sweet shop I came across is the most famous one in this market so after reaching the sweet shop I bought a total of 2 kg of sweets at 300 BDT or 8.3 Steem per kg and left for grandma's house.
The distance from Kazdia market to my grandmother's house is very short so we all started walking towards grandmother's house. After walking for a little over five minutes we reached our grandmother's house and my grandmother was very happy to see us. After reaching their house we freshen up and rest for a while and talk to all the family members.
I like Kazdia village in Khulna more because this village has more trees and less human noise. Moreover, my grandmother's house is exactly what a village house should be, which makes it even more appealing to me. After resting for a while, I walked around the grandmother's house for a while and then again entered a room inside the grandmother's house to have a light breakfast.
Although it wasn't even noon when we reached their house so as soon as we arrived my grandmother brought us all a light breakfast which my grandmother had prepared in advance. As we are going to visit a nursery outside, we all eat the light breakfast given by Grandma before going out.
My grandmother cooked lemon sorbet, semai and noodles for our light breakfast. Especially semai and noodles are my favorite food and I often prepare and eat this food in my home. But grandma's hand noodles are my favorite so I eat two small bowls full of noodles and rest for a while before going out.
I had heard from my grandmother quite some time ago that plantations had started in their village of Kazdia which is basically spread over a large area around the banks of a river. Then I left the house with the plan to go to that place and taking other members of my family with me. On the way we see large nursery signboards and various trees on both sides of the road which are a part of the nursery.
We move forward through the initial road inside the village and see different types of trees on both sides of the road. Although I know the names of a handful of plants and the rest were unknown to me. I don't know the names of all these trees, although I have recognized some of them up close. I left with my younger sister and a few others directly for another nursery on the banks of a small river.
In no time we reach the nursery by the river by which time the sun is above our heads and the heat of the sun is intense. Basically after reaching the river bank I was mesmerized by the beauty of the river bank as there was a small river inside the village and the fresh air of the river bank felt good to me. Then I continued to see the unseen grasses on the banks of the river where new varieties of trees had been planted.
However, I noticed one thing about the river and that is that although the river is quite small, I saw the sight of the river bank breaking. This small river is basically a tributary of the Rupsar which we had crossed by boat and this tributary flows through Kazdia village. It is very painful to see such a scene of river erosion because the biggest suffering of the people on the banks of the river is the river erosion and every year thousands of people's land is lost in the river due to the river erosion.
As much as the riverside scenes were good, some scenes were bad for me, one of them was that there were some pillars built for people to sit on the river bank which had some seats on the pillars. But due to the river erosion, the seats of people have sunk into the river pride and by that time I saw that the sun was shining completely right in the middle of the river which I liked very much.
The beauty of the river on one side and the new trees in the nursery on the other added to my enjoyment. Although I am a nature lover because I am used to being from the city, the village draws me towards itself. I am always fascinated by the beauty of the countryside and I love to see plantations or the combination of different plants. We all know how important trees are to the environment that's why I love planting trees and forests.
After spending some time on the banks of the river and seeing the trees in the riverside nursery, we left for home. But I enjoyed all the time spent in the afternoon and visiting the nursery.
After we reach home in a while I see if he has prepared lunch for us. After reaching home, after we freshen up, we all eat lunch prepared by my grandmother.
