An Autumn Stroll Through the Berici Hills: Rediscovering Nature After Recovery
Hello, dear friends of this community, Unfortunately, I have been a bit absent these past few days because I came down with a bit of fever and a sore throat. Luckily, I was able to recover in just a few days, though I had to spend them in bed. But since I started feeling much better yesterday and was eager to get some fresh air (it had been a while since I had been out of the house), I decided to go for a short walk, not too far from my home, about 10 km away, still in the beautiful Berici Hills. My route started in the municipality of Sarego, located in the province of Vicenza. I tried to choose a fairly easy route, as I didn’t want to risk a setback in my recovery. So, I opted for a path in a hilly area but without any major elevation changes. I walked for about an hour, mostly through vineyards. As you know from other posts and photos I’ve shared here, I love walking in these places, especially now as we’re approaching autumn and the colors of the vineyards are changing. In fact, I’d like to capture some photos of the foliage. Let’s see if I’m luckier this year than in previous ones, as it usually rains. I hope you enjoyed the photos I shared, and I’ll see you on my next adventure, which I hope will come very soon. I wish you all a great week!
Anyway, it’s always wonderful to come to these places, because even though I’ve been here a million times and know this path almost by heart, there’s always something new or beautiful to see, something that perhaps our eyes are discovering for the first time.
