Village Youth Togetherness for Events at Dayah

Happy to be able to help

This morning was a meaningful moment for me. Together with the village youth, I contributed to preparing a big event that would be held at Dayah. We started the morning with enthusiasm, gathering at the location to transport the tent with a motorbike. The tent was quite large and heavy, but with solid teamwork, we managed to move it without much difficulty. After the tent arrived at the event location, we immediately worked together to install it. This process requires good coordination, because the tent must be installed firmly and neatly. Some were tasked with holding the pole, some pulled the rope, and some made sure each corner was standing as needed. Even though the sun was quite hot, the atmosphere was still full of jokes and laughter, adding to our enthusiasm for working.

After the tent installation is complete, the next task is to prepare the ingredients for the event consumption. I took a role in grating coconut, which will later be used to make Santa as a basic ingredient for various dishes. The process of grating coconut is quite tiring, but I feel happy because I can contribute. Some friends help pick up the coconut, while others start preparing other ingredients in the kitchen.

Not only working, this moment is also an opportunity to strengthen relationships between each other. We share stories and laugh in between jobs. The tiredness feels paid off by the happiness that radiates from the faces of friends. Mutual cooperation like this is real evidence of the solidarity of village youth in supporting religious and social activities in our environment.

when everything was done, I felt satisfied seeing the results of our work. the tent was standing firmly, the food was ready, and the atmosphere at Dayah began to feel lively before the event. our involvement today gave us happiness, especially because I know that every small effort made together can have a big impact on the success of the event.

today we all go home with hearts full of gratitude. this togetherness reminds me of the importance of the spirit of mutual cooperation and the smallest contribution for the common good.
