Long journey and enjoy the beautiful destination in the cold city of Central Aceh, Takengon

the beauty of nature is so perfect

The journey to the Lubuk Badak rafting in Takengon, Central Aceh. It was an unforgettable experience. Together with my friend, a steemian @aril.hatake, we started the journey full of enthusiasm even though we knew the terrain we were going to travel was not easy. The distance is quite far, coupled with the winding roads typical of the mountains, adding to the challenges. However, the natural beauty and cool atmosphere that accompany the journey make everything feel enjoyable.

We left early in the morning when the fog still covered the village. Along the way, the view of towering mountains, green forests, and fresh air accompanied us. Several times we stopped on the side of the road, enjoying the beauty of nature while taking some photos to capture the moment. The sound of birds chirping and the gurgling water from the river we passed became natural music that soothed the soul.

After almost four hours of travel, we finally arrived at Lubuk Badak. This place is famous for its beautiful clear river and fast current, perfect for rafting activities. When we arrived, the atmosphere there was so lively. Several other groups of tourists also seemed to be preparing their equipment. We immediately joined in, wearing life jackets and helmets, and listening to the instructions from the guide.

As our rubber boat began to glide over the river current, a sense of tension mixed with enthusiasm was immediately felt. The strong current carried our boat across large rocks and sharp turns. Screams of joy mixed with adrenaline were heard from all participants. There was a moment when our boat almost capsized because of the strong current, but this was the most exciting part that made us laugh together.

Lubuk Badak River not only offers challenges but also stunning beauty. Along the way, we were treated to views of high cliffs decorated with green plants, small waterfalls flowing in the distance, and bright blue skies. Several times we stopped at certain points to rest and enjoy the beauty of the surroundings.

After several hours of river trekking, we finally reached the end point. The tiredness after fighting against the strong current was immediately paid off with satisfaction and happiness. We spent time chatting while enjoying snacks and of course capturing moments together.

This trip is not only about the excitement of rafting, but also about togetherness and awe of the beauty of God's creation. With my best friend, the tiring trip felt light. Lubuk Badak is one of the places that taught us to appreciate the beauty of nature and the importance of enjoying every moment in life. We also agreed that an experience like this was one of the best adventures we have ever had.
