This long journey felt different, because I was with a team, including my friend a steemian @aril.hatake and we decided to enjoy a vacation in the Takengon area. We set off with enthusiasm, bringing enough supplies and a car as the main vehicle. The weather in the morning looked bright, giving hope that the trip would go smoothly.

However, in the middle of the journey the situation changed drastically. The sky that was initially clear began to become cloudy, and rain poured down heavily. We continued our journey, but unexpectedly the car we were riding in suddenly broke down in the middle of the road. The atmosphere became a little panicked, especially because the rain made the road slippery and there were not many shelters around the location.

After checking the car engine, we decided to look for shelter while waiting for the rain to stop. With a little difficulty we finally found a small shop on the side of the road. There we took a short break, while trying to contact help or find a solution for the broken down car. This simple shop became a temporary savior, giving us a roof to shelter from the heavy rain.

After the rain stopped and the car was successfully repaired with the help of a local technician, we immediately continued our journey. Although we had stopped for a while, our spirits did not diminish. We again enjoyed the stunning natural scenery along the way to Takengon, with green mountains that seemed to welcome us.

Upon arrival in Takengon we decided to stop at a mosque to rest and perform our prayers there. This magnificent mosque stands with a beautiful backdrop, providing a sense of calm after a tiring journey. We rested there, refreshed ourselves and chatted lightly about the unexpected experience we had just had.

it's raining and the car breaks down in the middle of the road

Although the trip was full of unexpected events, such as car breakdowns and heavy rain, this actually made the trip even more memorable. Teamwork in dealing with obstacles and a sense of togetherness in finding solutions became valuable lessons for all of us. The trip to Takengon was not only about enjoying a vacation, but also about facing challenges together and being grateful for every moment, both pleasant and challenging.
