Exciting Vacation in Brastagi City, Karo Regency, North Sumatra
Holidays are the right time to take a break from daily routines by doing fun activities. Vacations can be spent with your beloved family or with your best friends. Vacations can be taken by individuals or groups which are usually done on days off from work or weekends. Vacations don't have to be expensive or to far away places, but can also be done in the surrounding area at a very cheap cost.
There are many benefits that can be obtained from holidays, including reducing stress, improving mood, and strengthening relationships with family or friends. Vacations can also develop imagination and creativity, broaden your horizons and gain various new experiences. Welcoming a long holiday some time ago, my beloved family and I took advantage of the time by visiting one of the tourist areas in the neighboring province, North Sumatra. Our family and several friends headed to the Brastagi area, Karo Regency, which is about 60 km from Medan City.
Brastagi District, Karo Regency is already known as a cool city and is a mainstay tourist destination in North Sumatra Province. Brastagi offers various beautiful and amazing tourist attractions. Brastagi is a small town in the highlands of Karo Regency which has stunning natural views that will fascinate every visitor. The air is cool with views of Mount Sinabung and Mount Sibayak. Another thing that makes Berastagi even more exciting is of course the unique cultural mix, delicious food and various tourist attractions.
The journey to the city of Brastagi is also very pleasant starting from the direction leaving Medan City. We will be treated to green views of the Sinabung and Sibayak mountains, two volcanoes in North Sumatra. Our journey started from our house in Lhokseumawe City at 08.00 WIB. The journey we took took almost ten hours to the city of Medan. Even though the trip was long, it was fun because it was done with family and friends. We stopped several times to rest and enjoy eating and drinking before continuing our journey until we arrived at the hotel where we were staying, Grand Jame Medan.
After staying overnight in the city of Medan, the next day at around 9 am we continued our journey to the Brastagi area. After traveling for about two hours, we arrived safely in the city of Brastagi. On the way to the cold city, we stopped several times to rest and enjoy the cool air and beautiful views of the Sinabung and Sibayak mountains. At around 11 o'clock in the afternoon we arrived in the city of Brastagi and immediately enjoyed the various tourist attractions around the city. At 2 pm, go to the villa where you will stay where you have made a reservation before arriving at the place. After everyone rested for a while at the villa then we prepared the menu for dinner together.
In the afternoon we gathered together until nightfall and enjoyed a meal with a prepared menu, including grilled chicken, grilled shrimp, grilled fish and grilled meatballs. That night we enjoyed the air in the city of Brastagi which was very cold so all members had to wear cold clothes. This holiday is really fun because Brastagi City offers various fun tourist attractions. Aesthetic cafes with mountain views that make drinking coffee even more delicious, exotic two-colored waterfalls, Gundaling hill, Sikulikap Waterfall, and Sidebuk Debuk hot springs.
