Community Curators Application For January 2025

Dear @steemitblog,

I am here in response to your post dated 27-12-2024 on behalf of my co-steemians @goodybest and @cymolan to apply for the Team Curators posts for January 2025.

We wish to work as Team Quality Questers to make sure we reach as many users as possible without any bias for communities, countries, clubs, or ranks as per the guidelines provided by Steemit. We all are seasoned Steemians and know the rules fully.

As the name suggests we three are seeking in order to perform a prescribed feat by the Steemit team and in the quest for the talented users. We are out to search for something full of knowledge. As moderators, we know how to check for plagiarism, AI, club status, and other necessary requirements for the job of a curator.

My name is Goodnews Noah. I have been an active blogger on this platform for more than 3 years now, and I have formed good relationships with other great minds. Being a curator is my thing because it offers me the opportunity to meet and get to know different users on this platform. I have come to accept and appreciate the differences in people's ways of life.

  
I am a Nigerian, and English is the language of my heart. I'm good at Nigerian pidgin too, but language can't be a barrier for me to read, benefit from, and support good content from other languages because, with the help of modern technology like Google Translate, I have been reading, appreciating, and supporting quality posts written in other languages. In real life, I'm a graduate of business administration and a renowned teacher.

I am presently working as one of the Steem Representatives. I am a greeter and a moderator in the SteemforBetterlife community. I am good at differentiating quality posts from AI-generated posts and plagiarism. I can detect AI-generated posts manually, especially the ones generated in the English language.

I was introduced to the Steemit platform in April 2022, and I started to deepen it after a few months and got support from the Steemit team, which made me more enthusiastic and consistently active here. As time goes by, I realized that this platform is very good to develop and become the top priority on my phone that can share all creativity.

After spending a year on the Steemit platform, I started to develop a little and got to know some seniors in the area to take part in some activities such as handing over Steem Charity to residents affected by disasters. This not only added to my experience but also made me meet new people through this platform, especially in Indonesia.

  
In early 2024 I had built a Steemlens community with a friend who specialized in macro photography. At that time I first became an admin in the community with my friend. I can say that it was the beginning of a new journey that I chose, although it did not go smoothly, but we got support from great people to keep going, which made our enthusiasm increase to be more consistent here. Languages: Indonesian and English.

In November 2024, together with two friends, I was selected to be Team 2 to run Steemcurator04. With this new experience entrusted to me by the Steemit Team, I will carry out all the rules that exist. I also continue to maintain my club status by consistently powering up.

I am a qualified mechanical engineer and have a PG Diploma in Management and special alloy welding technology. I last worked as a DGM (marketing) before I took over project jobs in BRO, the Indian Army's Border Road Organization, on a contract basis, and later I took project work overseas as an expert in my field starting in March 2011.

  
I have completed a short-term online blogging and vlogging course from Udemy, an online education platform. I have a diploma in special alloy welding technology.

I am conversant with plagiarism checking and familiar with ChatGPT and how it works. I have been organizing contests in various Steemit communities for a long time.

My permanent residence is in the National Capital Region of India, Delhi but I will be going back to Canberra, Australia, in February if all goes according to plan.

I can read and write Hindi and English well, but I can speak several Indian languages, including Punjabi and Urdu, and have a working knowledge of several other languages.
