#TRAVEL My Weekly Powerup | #club100 | A great place to explore Street art is in Buenos Aires, Argentina | #steemexclusive / 20 photos
These walls with flowers, bees, butterflies etc. were found in some of the smaller streets. Some of the street art in town takes up a whole fasade on multi-story buildings. Many of the paintings with flowers were found mostly on one story buildings that looked more like residentioal houses.
But Buenos Aires also have murals with political themes. Sports, especially football seems to be a national sport. I was in Buenos Aires in January 2023, just after Argentina’s became the winner of the world cup in football. We saw several murals with icons like Messi with the trophy. We also saw many paintings of another great Argentine football player – Maradona.
This is the wall of a barber shop. Quite a way to decorate the wall. Looks like a very scarry place to visit... These were also found in the smaller side streets. Exploring the small streets made us discover all of these diferent artworks. The amazing variety when it comes to street art, certainly has changed the city.

Thank you for the feedback. Buenos Aires is a lovely city. I think I chose the right place to stay... it felt like the streets were an open air art gallery :)
