Hi Steemian’s

How are you friends in the Steem Traveling Community, I am @dederanggayoni back here with you all. Together we produce works here, share stories and experiences that are fun, full of challenges or extraordinary adventures. There are so many beautiful places on this earth that are good for us to visit, there are many stories that we can get every time we travel, let's take the time for a trip.

This time I want to share my experience with all of you to witness my visit with my students in a very interesting and knowledgeable place. This visit fulfills one of the materials in P5 or the Pancasila Student Strengthening Profile Project in the Merdeka Curriculum, which is the learning curriculum that applies to education in my country Indonesia today.

Our goal as teachers to invite our students to visit the Aceh Museum is to introduce and learn more detail and depth about Acehnese culture. How is the history of the Acehnese people, their culture, traditional clothes, traditional houses and many more. Don't let the young generation of Aceh not know their origins and customs. a great nation is a nation that loves its homeland or its birthplace.

Our aim in visiting this museum is to introduce the history of Aceh, Acehnese culture, Acehnese customs and others to the younger generation as the successors of the struggle so that they know and study it well. Aceh Museum, Lhokseumawe City is located in the center of Lhokseumawe City, the location https://w3w.co/bergulung.mencegat.digulai.

A great nation is a nation that loves its homeland or the place where it was born. Here we, the teachers, also want to foster that spirit in our students. We left at 10:00 am using the school bus. When we arrived at our destination we gathered under a shady tree. The Museum administrators then welcomed us very well and gave a little direction before the students entered the Museum room.

I and the other teachers arranged the lines of students based on their classes to take turns entering the Museum room. After that we started to enter the pseudo-mess room guided by the officers in the museum. We entered one by one the rooms in the museum. which consists of a living room, central room, Acehnese wedding room, bridal room, and kitchen.

Guest room and living room

When we entered the living room, we saw many rows of photos of Lhokseumawe City in ancient times. The black and white photos include photos of the cinema, photos of the harbor, photos of the Cunda bridge, photos of the fish market and others, all of which are the atmosphere of ancient times. From these photos, students can learn the history of the city of Lhokseumawe.

Next when entering the central room we were presented with several regional musical instruments of Aceh. One of them is rapai, drum, flute and others. There is also a miniature of an old-time rice pounder or zinki. Then there are also royal chairs, hunting equipment, typical Acehnese weapons such as various kinds of rencong and ancient coins.

Bridal room and family room

Next we entered the room where the Acehnese wedding stage is held. Where on the Acehnese wedding stage, the bride and groom will sit together as a pair of doves or a husband and wife. In this wedding stage, there are also many bridal eating utensils such as convex, plates, glasses, spoons and other eating utensils.

Finally we entered the basement which was used as a kitchen. There was an old stove that was still very simple. In addition, there were fishing nets and old bicycles that were used as one of the means of transportation in ancient times. Students, besides looking around, could also take notes, ask questions and take pictures together.

Seeing the Acehnese wedding room

Let's preserve our Acehnese culture so that it is not forgotten. The history of Aceh is depicted here in the Lhokseumawe City Museum. There is a lot of knowledge to be gained from our culture. If not the young generation who preserves and maintains it, who else can. External influences can come in from anywhere, but our own culture should never be forgotten and erased by time.

Thus my visit with my teachers and students this time at the Aceh Museum in Lhokseumawe City. Hopefully we can all learn and know and preserve our culture well. Hopefully my writing this time can be well received and greetings.

Regard
