RE: S19-Wk4: Data-sheet for NPN and PNP Transistor measurements

in Electronics Academylast month (edited)
Hi @lusciouslucy, thank you for participating in the electronics tasks for week 4.

I have assessed your assignment post ,and below captures my assessments:

  • Task 1: You have presented the datasheets as well as the symbols for the two transistors. Concerning their differences and observations, you should have discuss more in details.

  • Task 2: You have shared the datasheets
of the 3 outlined transistors on this task. It's interesting to read those differences as you have pointed out.

Quick question: How did you know that the last transistors you tested were good?

  • Overall, I think you did much better than all your previous tasks and it's a good one. You made some very good approaches to each of the tasks.

  • I recommend that you work on your Markdown formatting. Consider adding white space between paragraphs to prevent the text from appearing cramped and to make it easier to read.

I'm glad you came for some electronic components in my shop. Maybe you could make a separate post about that..

Asides using the data sheet, I used the multimeter to check for the continuity of the pinout. When the corresponding probe is on base, there'll be a reading when the other probe test the emitter and Collector. If meter probe is on collector and Emitter there'll be no reading.
