Lo de Lance Armstrong es quizás lo más escandaloso del deporte, por todos los premios que consiguió y más que pudo burlar a los especialistas por años.
También lo de Sammy Sosa fue muy gracioso, que lo hayan descubierto de esa manera, una locura para alguien tan talentoso y lo del portero no lo sabía, me pareció muy interesante eso Bro.

I find the Lance Armstrong one interesting... his success and his story (before he was discovered cheating) played an important role in cycling becoming such a popular sport in the UK (and possibly globally). Without him, cycling probably wouldn't be as popular as it currently is.
It's just a shame that he needed to cheat to do it!
Totally friend Lance Armstrong was the one who gave popularity to this sport, but thanks to him also many were to follow the cheating, I recommend you watch the documentary called Icarus, here tells the story of a cyclist who cheats in the Olympics, it happened in real life and the entire feature film are images of what happened, it was in the 2012 or 2016, I do not remember the date but very recently.

but you also have to admit that he was totally shameless when you are at Lance Armstrong's level as an athlete it automatically makes you an example to follow both big and small the admiration and everything you did in a sport is your calling card and the damage all for cheating.
and nowadays he is in bankruptcy lawsuits and all his sponsorship was taken away it is a shame that someone like that is left that way.
Absolutely - he was such an inspiration for so many. So many young cyclists that took up the sport because of him. Like you say, "an example to follow". And then to discover he's cheated from the outset.
Fortunately, those who took up the sport and continued to make it popular stayed interested but it would have been nice if such an iconic figure had been "a good guy". But then if he was a good guy, would he have been such a good cyclist and able to promote the sport so much. Quite a contradiction.
