¡Hola amigos de Steemit!
Hoy, decidí salir de mi zona confort y pasear por mi ciudad, hacer turismo y en el acto invité a mi novia ya que ella no conocía aún el castillo que es monumento histórico de nuestra ciudad. Así que fue como una cita.

Hello friends of Steemit!
Today, I decided to get out of my comfort zone and walk around my city, go sightseeing and on the spot I invited my girlfriend since she didn't know yet the castle which is a historical monument of our city. So it was like a date.

Para ir a este sitio, esperamos a que el sol bajara un poco, ya que hay que subir un cerro y llegar al punto más alto de Cumaná. Ella estaba muy emocionada y yo también la verdad, salimos como a las 3:30pm para estar a las 4:30pm más o menos en el centro de la ciudad y de ahí irnos caminando.

To go to this site, we waited for the sun to go down a little, since we had to climb a hill and reach the highest point of Cumaná. She was very excited and I was too, we left at about 3:30pm to be at 4:30pm more or less in the center of the city and from there we went walking.

Subimos, y al llegar, las escaleras estaban cerradas, es decir, las puertas principales hacía el castillo así que nos fuimos por otra vía por la cuál se podría llegar. El atardecer era muy bonito, y además de eso había mucho viento y unas nubes que hicieron del clima el momento perfecto para nuestra cita y visita a este lugar.

We went up, and when we arrived, the stairs were closed, that is, the main doors to the castle, so we went by another way by which we could get there. The sunset was very beautiful, and besides that there was a lot of wind and clouds that made the weather the perfect moment for our date and visit to this place.

Ella estaba muy feliz y yo igual, pasamos un rato súper agradable en nuestra cita y además conocimos e hicimos turismo en ella.
Este castillo, tiene una historia muy genial ya que era la fortaleza de la ciudad, está ubicada en el cerro pan de azúcar y se podía ver la península de Cariaco y Araya desde la cima, y está construida en forma de estrella de 4 puntas y cada una apunta a un punto cardinal. Desde esta base impenetrable, cuidaban a la ciudad de la invasión de piratas en el siglo XVII.

She was very happy and so was I, we had a super nice time on our date and we also met and did some sightseeing in it.
This castle has a very cool history since it was the fortress of the city, it is located on the Sugarloaf Hill and you could see the peninsula of Cariaco and Araya from the top, and is built in the shape of a 4-pointed star and each one points to a cardinal point. From this impenetrable base, they guarded the city from the invasion of pirates in the XVII century.
