Emotions are better of expressed by actions and attitudes which simply means that a person's countenance cannot really tell what river of emotions he or she is floating on!. I believe that even the "HOLY BIBLE" made mention of the elders taking or take reference from the lives of children because of their soft emotions and how they tend to move along simultaneously in life.

As children, the kind of emotions which we all may have known is that of tne positive part. Because then, we had nothing to worry about or rather problems to carter for and become independent and so on!
